Other than subtle and dangerous mechanic implications, doubling all mana is just too clunky, opposite to game design.
It's like strolling around by hopping instead of walking.

They had to bring 4 decks and they all brought Hunters with DK, 13 decks out of 16 are of the same 4 classes (they had to pick 4, remember?). Meanwhile, 3 classes are completely absent. I wouldn't say this is a versatile meta.

Deathstalker Rexxar
It's the second cheapest deathknight card but it gives hands down the best value and has one of the best battlecries too. It should have been 8 mana, not 6. This one card turns any crappy aggro hunter deck into a control killer and somehow it always pulls a poisonous bloatbat or rush lifesteal out of its ass and saves to hunter from a fiery death that it deserves.

I made a satirical post called “Move Mindblast to the Hall of fame” and it was locked by a moderator. I’m not quite sure why, as I didn’t read anywhere in the rules that satire wasn’t allowed. Does anyone know why this got blocked?

Actually what annoys me is the percentage of hunters in ladder, feels really boring to face a single class all the time and also feels boring to see that 31% of players are meta sheeps(the sheeps go where their breeder tells them --> breeder is the meta win report).
Druid was strong, but never have I seen 31% of players using Druid.
There is a plethora of decks that farm really hard the hunters. And do you know the worst nightmare of Hunters? Odd paladin(according to hsreplay, it has positive win rates with each hunter archetype) . The level up nerf hardly touched its win rate, and since the 31% of players are hunters, odd paladins are going to appear more often from now on. And for me odd paladin is the most cancerous deck ever. Soon my hunter friends, soon , you will rip what you sow , you will unleash hell to earth.
P.S I was playing some meme decks before with slightly positive win rates pre-nerfs. Now I can't even touch them, that it what annoys me most.
P.S.2 All these people talking about go to salt posts and so on, why you even bother reading everyone's opinion and then judging them if you are pre-determined to be negative? Just don't read the posts :D or else offer a good conversation, is that so hard for you? Unless you are huntards :P

My favorite part of the druid nerf was the fact that it shat all over the supposed class identities. Ramp was supposed to be what made druid druid. On the other hand, people were always complaining about how druid was infringing on other classes' class identities by being a better armor/removal/draw/crowd control class
Instead of nerfing armor gain so that warrior can have their identity as the armor class back, they nerfed ramp. Now druid is still the best at a lot of things they're not supposed to be and not good at something that is unique to them lol
On top of this, they've now nerfed a total of 3 evergreen ramp cards thanks to an issue they introduced themselves by not balancing KFT properly. Ramp isn't the problem; KFT was. If you think druid is bad now, wait till you see it after KFT rotates. In the long run, the printing of UI was the worst thing that ever happened to druid
I've played tons of card games and "2 mana gain 1 permanent max mana" is a staple class card for the ramping class. In exactly none of these other games has this card ever remotely been a problem or nerf candidate despite most of them being a lot more nerf-happy than HS. The difference is that none of these other games printed something UI or spreading plague in the same class. Meanwhile, nourish was literally a weak, meme-tier card until KFT
Mind you, I'm not mad even as a druid main. I've picked trash tier classes to main in the past. Making things work again and surviving in the hunterstone meta is a new challenge. I just find the way that they went about "balancing" hilariously bad

The issue regarding Lesser Emerald Spellstone is that 5 mana for 6/6 body, even without playing any secrets, is ahead of the curve already. Also, potencial 12/12 stats on T5 is ridiculous and way too easy to do (only 2 secrets???). If the oponnent can't answer there goes half his HP.

It's a well-designed card. No need for hate.

You can never have enough Hakkars.

Quote from MikeStrutter >>just use secret eater or something similar
Eater of secrets? Do you think that is enough? They fill the board with wolves and their bitch ass companions and then zuljin for an otk... Please nerf the spellstone blizz, make it 8 mana so that it's actually balanced

>pretty balanced meta with all classes seeing almost equal play asides from maybe one class that has around 15-17% playrate
>”balance” changes
>hunter playrate is 30%
>druid playrate is 3%
I’ve kept an eye on the vicious syndicate playrate since they started making reports. I don’t think I can remember a time where the numbers have been so skewed, especially after balance changes.
The next time team 5 decides to destroy multiple archetypes that many people enjoy playing, maybe they should actually do some thinking. I understand some people may enjoy not facing certain decks anymore, but from a balance perspective, blizzard fucked up terribly.
I do however agree with the kingsbane nerf. Not because I don’t like the deck, but because it was a very oppressive and polarized deck. Shudderwock is not as understandable, as it was tier 3, could fail, and could be pressured by even some control decks. The druid nerfs were overkill. I believe they only needed to nerf either wild growth or nourish, not both. It was pretty obvious that hunter would be very powerful as it’s counters got nerfed and hunter itself didn’t.

When a player can’t reach legend with a good deck it is usually because they lack knowledge of the game in general. Learn what your opponents are playing and predict what they will do. Think of their possible plays and set up a game state favourable for you.

So because it has happened before means it’s not an issue? What type of logic is this shit?

This clearly is not balanced. The spellstone is far too powerful and it has utterly destroyed the meta. Everything revolves around this deck and a deck has to have a pretty good winrate against hunter to be somewhat viable.
I really don’t understand why people enjoy playing this deck. It’s the same exact thing over and over again. Secret on 2 and 3, spellstone on 5, win the game.
So yeah, I feel the nerfs made the meta way way worse. I’d rather see a nourish on 5 than 12/12 spread across 4 bodies, as well as annoying secrets that protect them.

The solution: Take tog and then choose the worst pick for the rest of your drafts. Swap decks on 8, the opponent won’t play ransom out of curiosity of what is in your deck (and for tempo).

Impressed by how there’s 3 new druid archetypes, disappointed by pretty much everything else

There can’t possibly be “no meta” ever. The meta is the current decks being used competitively. And pretending that it’s an experimental meta is bullshit, because the majority of my queues are odd paladin and secret hunter. It honestly seems less varied than before, by a long shot.
2
Saying it’s not oppressive is a joke. Keleseth is the definition of oppressive when used in decks like zoo. It turns a 50/50 matchup into a 80/20.

You’re thinking way too far ahead dude. Come back to the present.
