Pumpkin03 posted a message on DE vancleef?Posted in: Card DiscussionDon't!
I know its easy to look at decks/classes in terms of 'mains' when your collection is low but you really shouldn't dust often as you'll gimp yourself hard later.
I've gone through this before- I dusted everything when I started so I could make Jade Druid, but eventually I got so sick of the class that I dusted all its Epics and Legendaries.
It didn't help much dust wise and I've pretty much deleted the class from my account for awhile, needless to say a bad trade- but I didn't care at the time cos I wanted Miracle Rogue or whatever.
You see, you can't really predict what new decks will come in future, or if you'll be interested in them. (sometimes I want to play a deck only because it counters a deck I hate for example).
Its hard starting off, but if you can quest/arena often enough you'll surprise yourself with your progress- I've been on/off HS as a F2P for years and though I don't have a great collection I still can craft/play what I want.
Not starting off xD although it may seem like it by asking a question like this. Rank 2 and have been playing since old gods. I have had a terrible past with DEing, DE’d decks for other decks, then DE’d that deck, and so on. Now my collection is ass, but I only play druid.
It seems my story XD

Lyra_Silvertongue posted a message on Solutions vs spreading plaguePosted in: General DiscussionHow about not overcomitting to a wide board and completely playing into plague?
What do I know though? I just started this game in vanilla and learned not to overextend into things like Flamestrike & Holy Nova. Must be hard being a modern player who never learned that lesson when going face.

BorgerKing posted a message on Why is hearthstone so toxic??Posted in: General DiscussionIn particular this forum... No one can have fun. Everyone is sarcastic and waiting to cut other people down even if they suggest a unique idea .I saw someone try to make flarks boomzooker a few days ago and asking for help. The first comment was, "no. No. No. This will never work." who I could tell didn't even read he deck list. Why are you like this.
Work together and stop being assholes to people you don't even know.
Sawtry just needed to get this off my chest.
Oh wait and mods need to also stop being assholes for the sake of assholes. You shouldn't be fueling toxic conversations or locking something you don't like.
YOU CHILDREN NEED TO STOP PLAYING GOD

Dragonborne posted a message on Boomsday Buffs PropsitionsPosted in: General DiscussionSince we got a nerfing list, thought I would share my insights for some great Buffs. Just so you know, I play since Beta, so I know a thing or two about cars nerfs and buffs.
Prince Keleseth - instead of giving +1/+1, give it +2/+2, after all, it's a 2 cost card with 2/2 stats that mentions all 2 cost cards. It should also give +2/+2.
Giggling Inventor - Keep it at 5 mana. Battlecry: Fill your board with Annoy-o-trons. Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello!
Fungalmancer - Give all friendly minions on board +2/+2. In the current state, it's just unplayable!
Carnivorous Cube - I need to confess this one was hard at finding the perfect balance, (like the previous ones). My suggestion would simply be: Battlecry: Destroy a friendly minion and summon two copies of it. Deathrattle: Summon 2 copies of it. This way you would guarantee at least two copies!
Happy Ghoul - Increase the mana cost to 7, make it a 7/7 that states: Echo If you've done nothing, it costs (0) this turn.
OK, this is my list! I think we can all agree that those changes would bring more variety to the game! Any suggestions, please, feel free to let me know!

hillandder posted a message on It Is The Time To Completely Remove Charge From The Game?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from hillandder >>Quote from Billie_Lurk >>You are right. Hearthstone should be a game about pillow fights, feather tickles and butt plugs. Stop with this shit. LOL
The many charge cards needed to be nerfed (Leeroy too) in HS history is not enough proof that mechanic never should exists in first place?
The charge minions that are left are not so problematic...
Quest rogue always is a problem, even after be nerfed twice, because classic 1 mana minions with charge.
And, please, can bring an argument to the discussion instead terrible irony or say things "salt thread" for a change?

Why would anyone ever concede just by seeing their opponents class? First of all it could be any archetype, and there’s no way that any deck from any class has even close to a 100% winrate against every archetype that a class has. Sure, my deck is bad against decks like quest rogue, but I still win a few, and without those stars, I wouldn’t be at my current rank. I can’t tell if you’re trolling or not because there’s so many reasons why this post is retarded. Please say you’re trolling.

Bro thank you for replying with this, that’s exactly what I’ve been saying. If you think spreading plague is OP then either you’re playing a brain dead deck like zoolock or odd rogue, or you just don’t know how to play around stuff. I know it’s an unpopular opinion but coming from a Druid player for years now, most of the time spreading plague is a dead card, unless I’m facing someone who plays the game as if they don’t know that spreading plague is a card

I just want to correct you, that you don’t go back to the bottom of the ladder anymore, you only go down 4 ranks, and once you’ve made it to rank 5, 10, 15, or 20, you can’t go below until the season resets.

I feel like when I played this game a couple of years ago, this forum had so many new threads and discussions each day. Now the same threads can be on the front page for days, and I feel like less people come here. Is hearthstone just becoming less popular? Is this just me?

I literally linked two decks on the post, one for big and one for taunt, and they are almost identical. If you really can’t help yourself from being an asshole, you shouldn’t come on these forums

Literally 2 different cards. Everyone is saying that druid has so many viable archetypes, which is does, but taunt and big druid are literally the same deck. Someone tell me why they’re called different names, as the same archetype can sometimes have 5 different cards than a different deck of the same archetype, let alone 2.

So I’m playing togwaggle druid, minding my business, until I queue into a game with a golden hunter. I know it’s going to be a tough match if it’s Deathrattle Hunter. Turn 1. I pass. The hunter isn’t doing anything and I assume he is afk. But very last second, he ends his turn. I still assumed that he had been afk and had returned. Turn 2. Same thing happens, except last second, he plays a secret. This happens for the next 15 - 20 or so turns, until he finally concedes due to himself making terrible plays.
I assumed that this guy had lost like 20 games in a row and is super salty and hates druids. I add him as a friend, and I wanted to say “you’re a fucking cunt” but I simply said “why did you rope every turn?” He responds with “I was laughing at you.” I said “But.. I won” and then he starts saying stupid shit like “still crying?”, “need more tissues?”, and “don’t cry bby its ok”
Then he gives me a spectator invite and I watch him face a zoolock. There was no roping at all. The difference is that the hunter had the lead from the start and had a good mulligan.
Clearly there needs to be a solution to this, as this guy had over 500 hunter wins as he was gold, so I imagine he has done this more than once, probably every time he thinks he will lose. This is selfish and immature and a huge waste of time. There has to be a way to deal with this. I think a solution could be to make it so you only have 15 seconds on turn 1, 20 on turn 2, 25 on turn 3, and so on. Maybe it could increase in intervals of 10 seconds instead of 5, I’m not sure. I understand people need a lot of time to think, but there is never much or any thinking on turn 1. This would save so much time and roping would be harder to do.
Edit: I woke up the next morning and I realized that this guy was my 1000th druid win. So thank you to whoever this guy is.
Edit #2: I was on mobile, if I was on my PC I obviously would alt tab and watch a video, but all I had was my phone so I couldn’t do much. It was also late at night so watching TV or something wasn’t an option as I would wake the house.
Edit #3: I see a lot of people complaining about druid. While I do see how players could be tired of it and think that it’s uninteractive (which it really can be and usually is), I still find druid to be very fun to play. I don’t have many cards and the only viable decks I can play are druid, as they are all I have. I crafted the majority of these cards a while ago, before people were tired of Druid. I actually crafted these cards at one of Druid’s weakest metas. I stopped playing hearthstone for about a year, and when I came back I crafted a few cards to make the most recent druid decks. Obviously I didn’t know and don’t care about people being mad at druid, as it’s my favorite class and it’s all I have. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.
