I still don’t know why they introduced that card in the first place. Paladin was already good, then out of nowhere they announced that and the other Aura as new items for the base set. Crusader Aura especially is stupidly strong, giving more tools to a class that was already near the top of the heap.
It’s not about balance, it’s about hurt feelings among the most vocal people. The Druid Thaddius/Pyro deck is a meme deck. Sure, it can do crazy stuff, but it is a big loser on the ladder because it’s wildly inconsistent. But people cry whenever a Druid or Shaman wins a game, so they aren’t happy until they’ve pushed those 2 classes to sub-40% win rates.
I’d be happy to see Astalor and Reno gone too. one card that negates all deathrattles, dormant minions, locations, and anything else on the board, and then takes away the opponent’s next turn too? What a ridiculously powerful card. At LEAST it should require discard of 3 random cards from your hand.
Paladin is the outlier right now. It’s warped the meta. They need to fix that first. The nerfs to Druid, Mage, and Shaman are senseless until they fix Paladin and then see what shakes out in the meta.
Just like last rotation, they won’t be happy until Druid and Shaman are last on the tier list, totally unplayable. Because apparently nobody on their team can handle even one loss to a Druid or Shaman player without crying.
All the recent druid nerfs have made it almost impossible to win in standard. Thanks for nerfing every single useful druid card, Blizzard. People on the design team created good Druid cards. But people on the “balance” team hate the class.
Embrace of Nature is too expensive now. Even 3 mana was a bit costly to draw a choose one and combine it. The druid pirate was the best one - draw a choose one card and split it into two cards.
No clue. It makes a copy of their deck... it doesn’t steal it, so why does it need to cost more? On the bright side, it can be pulled with Flower Child now. Druid decks that empty their deck at record speed can play Tony to get their opponent’s deck to burn through too.
I believe Flower Child will draw Cultivation. I’ve had it draw Naga Giant even after its cost was reduced to 0.
I’d suggest keeping Widowbloom and replacing Famished Fool with Flower Child. It draws one less card, but you know what you’re getting, it reduces cost, you don’t have to wait for it to infuse, and it is +1 attack.
You have some great synergies here for Hedge Maze. I would recommend taking out 2x Dirty Rat and replacing it with 2 of those. Lots of decks in the meta playing big minions, so the rat can hurt as often as it helps. I’d also suggest removing Alexstrasza and replacing with an Underking… again, synergy with flesh behemoth or extra armor with the maze.
I would get rid of the mosh monster and attorney at maw. You don’t want to pull a 2-drop from sesselie. You could sub in Invincible and/or stoneborne General, and for the 2-drop slot, 2x rake. Also maybe dump Sir Finley… again pulling a 1-drop with sesselie would be a big waste.
All that being said, things are pretty bad for Druid right now, so I had a version of this deck that I used to get legend last month. It’s not too great in the meta this month. With the Anub nerf, it’s gotten even worse. I hope I can create some deck that’s competitive, or somebody will find one and post it online. Us Druid players are now at the bottom of the barrel it seems.

Staff of the 9 frogs is not broken. It’s a very slow card, that doesn’t do much until it’s been around at least 5 turns. By then, most games are over.

So what? Most decks play with Viper because there are other good weapons in the meta right now too. It’s a nerf that is not needed... at all.

Azerite Ox seems a bit overpowered for 4 mana???? 5/5 and two 8-cost minions????

Every class has dredge cards. Druid’s isn’t that much more powerful than any of the others.

The absolute worst card in Hearthstone now. Destroy your deck to give ONE minion immune? LOLOLOL great job Blizzard.

LOL 6-mana Malygos. Another great job by the design team.
