Why would a deck have to contain cards from the latest expansion? You can edit a deck to work in the current meta-game without having to rely on new cards, as long as the older cards cover everything the deck should do and none of the new cards would improve that.

It's pure math: in a very balanced meta (like it is right now) is much harder to rank up then in a "broken" meta. Because having a deck with 60 percent winrate means a few less hours to grind for each rank vs a deck with 52 percent win rate.

 Because you have to rely on skill and rng rather than having a deck that is just more broken than others? This is a sad day, if that is really your argumentation. How can you even feel joy in winning when it's the deck that's actually winning your games.

Nothing to do with meta :) . Cube warlock was 47% before but now people removed alot of weapon removals to focus on silence and Cube Warlock just got alot stronger

But to be serious for a moment - it's somewhat difficult to tell how Pogo-Hopper decks will fare at this point. They might be doing fine now, but at the moment I have 80% winrate with Whizbang decks, which tells you a lot about the state of the "meta" right now. I do have the feeling that they won't be anywhere as powerful as Jades though, but don't quote me on that. :D

Went pretty well for me until I got the Mage Spellpower deck 4 times in a row. xD However, until that point I actually won all of my games and the deck recipes are really fun to play.

Most of card backs (in hs history) are good or at least decent, but i have an only main one that is the Jade Lotus cardback

I loved Jade Shamman with Aya Blackpaw , N'Zoth, the Corruptor and Brann Bronzebeard back on 2016, but yes the card back was a monthly reward in the firsts months of 2017, the only card back that could replace it is the Battle for Azeroth one, which, i obviously didn't get, i don play wow, so a pre-order just for a card back wasn't really worth

I get reported because I insulted a person who created a thread about nerfing Water Elemental because it provided too many heals with Frost Lich Jaina (you know, it s water elemental the real issue, it s a 4 mana 3/6, TOO OP NERF IT). I couldn t be happier.

 The discussion hinges on the mirror matches, since Aggro vs Control...there's not really much room for debate.  Control is far harder to play, without question.  The aggro game plan is "play minions until their AOE turn, go face with everything." 

So which takes more decision making, Control vs Control or Aggro vs Aggro?  If it's equal, then the sum decision making favors Control as being more difficult overall.

The superior status of the glorious control master race is far beyond the mind of a dirty aggro peasant can understand. :P
