(sorry if i have bad english)
im a 5-times season legend with quest mage (over 500 games)
played this deck 30 games: 12-18, 10W against control, 2W against aggro with lucky draw.
For win u need 6 cards: 1x antonidas, 2x simulacrum, 1x apprentice, 1x leyline, 1x molten. More important: u have to play BOTH simulacrum (6 mana) and leyline then (4 mana) before the otk, need 10 mana. In turn 10+ u CAN'T waste these 10 mana in a turn or u are dead (usually have to freeze or play ice block) so u need this:
X turn play simulacrum (or both) with apprentice on hand AND without another 2-drop.
X+i turn play another simulacrum (if just played once).
X+ii turn play leyline.
X+iii turn (turn 10+) OTK.
So u need these draw: apprentice -> simulacrum -> simulacrum -> leyline AND antonidas + molten reflection.
Another one: if 1 simulacrum is your last card -> concede, u can't play this combo because like i said: u will need at least 2 turn the cards in your hand for OTK. BTW the combo is so obvious so dirty rat is a insane counter after simulacrum.
I like the idea and ill try another ways to OTK but quest mage is 30 times more flexible now.

This deck already has 5 AoE's (7 if you count in the 2 Wild Pyromancer) so its not lacking in board clear and I see Lightbomb as better than Holy Nova because it can clear threats bigger than 2 health for only 1 extra mana (ex. Dr. Boom, Grim Patron, Piloted Shredder, a secret Paladin's board with Mysterious Challenger and other minions, etc). If you still feel so strongly that and extra Holy Nova is needed then by all means feel free to add one, I won't stop you. Also I ask that you please refrain from insulting my skills as a player without at least asking about my reasons for why I have things a certain way first. Hello guy,
Most of you won't give a single sh*t but I wanted to share my happiness with you !
I finally reached the Graal and became Legend for the first time tonight, 20 minutes before the end of season, while I initially didnt even try to do so.
I play since 4 years and a half, but never had time nor patience to go that far. No video game ever has frustrated more than this one and at the same time make me spend so much time on the game and even outside, just thinking about deckbuilding. I have litteraly loved and hated this game.
The RNGsus and other cancer decks have tilted me at the highest point (from double combo druid to pirate warrior or secret Pal) and I just coulndt get over my frustration and continue to play.
Since a year now I play only for fun, with my last goal being to climb the ladder, except for a few ends of month like this one, where I just try to get some stars to have a better chest in the end. Yet, the hunger of reaching Legend had never left me...
And the irony is that my most hated deck of all time, the COIN FLIPPER, let me introduce Big Priest, made me win !! (I'm a wild player, I have almost all the cards, just want to play a maximum of them). Indeed, I went with MechWarlock on this run, and my last 4 games were against 2 Big Priest player who never drew Barnes and offered me my easiest wins !
Voilà, that's it for my life, I'm finally a happy HS player.

Trust me, the game is far more enjoyable in ranks 15-20 imo... sometimes I just chainlose on purpose just to get back there, and enjoy funny/shitty decks against other funny/shitty decks. Beyond rank 10 you only see 3 differents decks, lose or concede on turn 5... So the game is not that interesting here, you haven't missed anything !

Hi there, it's me again !
I created a thread last month because of my first legend, I was so happy ! I'm a 4+ years player, and as I explained in my original thread, I never had the patience nor the time to reach legend, but on the last day of february I made it, 20 minutes before the reset.
I've always been a constructed only player, and never touched the arena (like 1 or 2 in 4 years). But with my goal of reaching legend completed, I was like "Ok, now let's try arena, it's gonna be refreshing and i'll need to learn a lot before reahcing the 12 wins."
So I just started a run, with priest (I have no idea which class are the best in arena, and did my draft, which was not amazing (No legendany or extraordinary cards).
So, I went 6-2, had fun and got ready for a new draft. I stopped for a few days because of a lack of time to play, and yesterday got a message telling me that my run will end with the end of the year and the rotation. Being homealone for the weekend, I just wanted to at least finish my run ..... and finally went to 12-2 !!
I would never have expected that as it was my first real arena, but once again, that made me very happy (not as much as getting legend I'd say, but still)!
It doesn't hurt anybody to share some happiness, so I let you know about that ! ^^
Ps : Despite the title of this thread, there is no bragging here, just want to share it with the community, so people can see something else than salty players complaining about Big Priest or Hunter !
