I'm out of the meta this season but harrison is situational at best (i have him and hardly play him), I find between all the fantastic BRM and NAXX legends he is just really fighting in the 5's slot. Lothab is better 9 times out of 10. For most classes his to little to late, against warrior and hunter i find i want a weapon destruction card around turn 3-4.
Its funny you posted this, me and a friend were discussing this exact issue a few days out. Not only are all the basic cards orc themed but alot of the core set cards are orc themed, i'm just not interested in playing a dwarf hero with a bunch of orc cards. NOW if Magni came along with an alt art version of the basic set then i would drop 10$ easy on him. But 10$ for an icon and a card back when i pay what ? 20 for a full adventure expansion is a bit silly.
My issue with the ladder is its a grind, its not a competition of skill as much as dedication. I think we need an Arena style format for constructed decks that way i can grind when i want to and i can pay 150-250 gold to play in a tournament if i want to be competitive.
Rngitus, its the disorder where your rng cards never work properly for you but do for your opponent. I stopped playing crackle because it would always go for one point under what i needed and i was not looking for big numbers i just need 4 dmg.... Your Crackle hits for-3 hp ..... BLARGH!!!!
Magni#1333 - Feel free to add, i wish there was some sort of global chat for HS, i wish it was like the Barrens in Vanilla Wow. Its kinda funny how online games have moved away from online communities due to the fact that most of us lack the ability to interact properly and respectfully with one another.
eh mage one seems a bit too good. drop turn 4 - turn 5 Sorc Apprentace, Frost bolt 2x +2 ice lance = 18 to the face the next turn just do some fire balls and its gg
I agree with the above threads, silence via earthshock gives you a huge advantage over most classes (it also cures ICE... F U MAGES) and hex is just to powerful these days.
The problem i had with shaman (and i love shaman) is that they dont have as many ways to finish the game as other classes do, yeah you can Crackle some one to death but if you dont get that whirley/flame out early then your kinda in a rough spot come midgame without a bloodlust.
I typed up a whole thing, but lets be constructive instead. Recently i was getting down and out about how bad ice mage was wrecking my shaman midrange. soo...
1. when your struggling against a deck build the deck you hate the most and play it watch how other people beat you. Then use those techniques with the decks you enjoy playing.
2. Try Light Bombs, it makes me laugh when ppl drop two moltent then BLAMO two 9/9 Taunt. Or make them waste removal early (like they always do) and drop a doomsayer and frost nova.
when I first experienced the awesome power that is handlock i crafted some cards and started playing it straight away thats the best way to find out what beats a deck. I found that the things that beat it are... rush/direct dmg and... paladins lols you dropped two golums and a defender? pyro/equality. rush and DD can break they down before they can draw alot of cards if they dont topdeck enough taunt you can finish them especially if you get them really low around turn 4-5.
Mage is great too, you can get them to 11 watch them drop there giants and then hit them with all your fireball spells, in general classes with things like poly morph and hex are the cheapest rough outside of sylvanis
I like Doom/Rock just for that chance to end the game with a burst to the face of 10. I think shaman has more of a mage threat now it controls the board and once it has that those left over dmg spells finish the game out. - Also Rockbiter+doom is great for sludge busting
Yeah the burst has payed out a few times crackle alone with a dragon and totem can easly finish off opponents i try to save them till the end then blast them down the last 7-10 dmg. I would suggest you enjoy the Wirley Zapper while you can i think it will get a little nerf.
I find my ability to drop a whirly on turn two coin and LB/RB there defender is pretty standered with the amount of removal you have. Then the next turn you follow with wolves or a flametong and hit them in the face for 10
Alright - i have saved up a nice amount of gold but have very little dust, i plan on getting about 50 packs when GvG drops and i'm thinking unless its a truly bla card of not dusting any cards in case of nerfs. So.. question is how long do you guys/gals think it will take before there is a blizzard knee jerk and some cards get nerfed... feign death? Whirl Zapper thingy? anyone else thinking about this?
I also will avoid crafting anything under legend if at all possible, this will spread out the excitement of opening new packs.

Bad deck in the current meta, Dragon Paladin, Zoo, Mage, and just about everyone else give this deck problems.
