I can confirm your first part, I asked a dev about the interaction. the revived prelate will be a 1/1 unbuffed version but I am not sure how Prelate would interact with Barnes or Dollmaster Dorian.. will the 1/1 copy be with buffs or a vanilla 1/1 similar to desperate stand? I am eager to see the card in a control type of paladin due to the  fatigue scenario instead of a buff-paladin but the rest of the set will decide what theme will be stronger... pretty sure there will be atleast 2 more spells for paladin within the set.

I see where you are going at and I have to admit, that I'm confused too. Blizzard's "summon/add a copy" cards are very inconsistent and our text interpretation isn;t always clear. If we didn't have a change to the copy mechanic, I would have said that the Prelate would be a vanilla 1/1. But to make things worse now we have a change to the 3 zones (hand, deck and board) and they all count as one.

I personally think, that the Prelate from Dorian will be a vanilla 1/1, since he generates a copy of the original card upon drawing it. Barnes is another topic, since he interacts with the deck. I think he might summon a "buffed" 1/1.

As for your last sentence - seeing what kind of a Loa paladins got, I take it as a sign that the class will get lots of expensive spells in the next expansion.

     Or more cheap echo spells...

People are going to figure out how to use this card well.  Hearthstone players are super smart, creative and inventive.  Also, the developers put this card here for a reason.  If they don’t support it much this expansion, you can be sure it will get more support in the ones to come.  I do like the Prismatic Lens idea from earlier in the thread.

This is a powerful addition to hand mage.  If you start with Mountain Giant in your hand, you fill your hand back up in the late game.  Oh, and why not play another Mountain Giant? You can also go Even Hand Mage with it.

Pretty cool deck idea and strategy.  Looks like a ton of fun to play.  :-)  A lot of peeps are gonna want to put those Star Aligners to use now.  I’d be surprised if folks don’t use this budget deck as a Star Aligner Template.  Thanks for sharing!!

posted a message on Bomblock; Gul'dan, the Evil Mechanic

I played several casual games and liked the deck.  I only had one Scorp and no Void Ripper, so I subbed them for Missle Launcher (which I really liked because I played some games against Paladin).  I actually like Scorp a lot because it destoyed Divine Shield minions.  I’m very high on Unwilling Sacrifice to break eggs and blow Kaboom Bots.  This works the same to use your leftover bombs to trade and deal damage.  I never ended up using the Curse of Weakness.  They usually sat in my hand.  I would probably swap those for another Unwilling Sacrifice and maybe a Defile for more board clear.  It seems like bomblock did have pretty good tempo with the Warlock’s card draws because you were less likely to run out of steam like you would in a hunter deck that wasn’t running Rexxarr.  I’m kind of surprised there are so few versions of Standard Bomblock posted to Hearthpwn.  It seems like an untapped area.  Maybe we’ll see more bomblock in the future.  Thanks for the deck!
