Rexxar: Wait a minute, did he just summon a bunch of Dragons in one turn?
Anduin: Yeah, so?
Rexxar: That's against the rules isn't it?
Anduin: Screw the rules I have purple hair!!

The release could be perfect, absolutely flawless, and people would still bitch about something stupid like this

Sure thing, bro.
If he won like 1 tournament or so, then yes, you could say he was lucky or whatever.
But, he's been one of the most successful players for quite a while, and that's because he's damn good.

Put your faith in Pavel.

Triple daily gold quest rewards and remove the 10g for 3 wins. People will be more likely to play "just for fun" instead of just trying to grind out wins for gold

Don't think Schrute read the whole thread... ^_^ Heh!

And in comes razapriest. You have all the control tools. But you also have an extremely powerful and broken endgame combo.

I made this one in Wretched Tiller's card reveal thread, I think its funny

A goldie from Ultrasaur's page.

Valeera the Hollow, because she didn't get the bad art treatment.
Burgly Bully or Bone Drake?

I really don't like conspiracy theories, but there sure is something fishy going on in this comment section...

Cabal Shadow Priest hands down.

And yet again a great Blizzard short! But let's not forget this iconic masterpiece from the past:

Give Archbishop Benedictus Taunt and add 'Draw one card.' to the battlecry.
Make Embrace Darkness grant the stolen minion Enrage and/or lower its cost to 5.
Give Stitched Tracker +1 attack.
Let Corpse Widow cost 3 mana and have 2/4 (or 2/3). Would be fringe OP because of the Highmane follow-up, but Hunter needs it.
Make Spectral Pillager a cheaper card, something like a 3/3 for 4 mana.
Give Ticking Abomination an additional effect like "Switch control of this minion after every 2nd turn".

I might have missed Blizzard telling us that, but casting Shadowform while being the DK Priest gives you the 3 damage hero power (Mind Shatter), indicating that the actual DK hero power is being regarded as Mind Spike. It makes sense in a way, but was not expected to me nonetheless.
Keep in mind for potential OTKs, as that one damage point helped me steal a win earlier ;)

I so far only tried Shadowreaper Anduin in a Control build and have went 5-0 in constructed - also beat two Demonlock players...small sample size, but still
Damn, I am so hyped to be a Priest main right now haha

The split does really well for me. I am not reliant on getting the potion, but obviously don't mind getting it at the start either. This deck is a quite quick one with lots of snowball potential. The Binding Heal helps out to make my OTKs more consistent, as it heals my Lightspawn and also enables more draws through Cleric, while it can also fuel Lyra.
As I encounter lots of Jade decks, I think a Priest player has to play a Combo variant to ensure that the game doesn't last too long. And in that regard, I really believe I got something going with this deck. With "pure" combo builds, I faced the problem that these decks were too reliant on getting the Combo out. This deck has more routes than only the combo one with Kalimos, Blazecaller and Mana Geode. Moreover, I had the problem that I either was missing Inner Fire or Divine Spirit at times. That problem is a non-issue in this deck, because of Lightspawn. Divine Spirit alone is enough with that card, which turns out to be crucial for my games. With Talonpriest, PW: Shield, Lyra and Divine Spirit, the minion snowballs hard.
Shadow Visions allows you to go for OTKs that actually "were not even there in the first place". I play a small number of spells that don't buff my minions (I don't run any Shadow Words), so Visions will basically always get you a buff spell into your hand. On turn 6 or 7, you can easily gamble on getting all needed buffs when you got one minion with 4+ health (let's say Kalimos or Lightspawn in the best case) as Visions and Radiant Elemental ensure you that you will get the needed Divine Spirits.
Don't believe me? Albeit I played on lower ranks, I still managed to climb from 17 to 9 without breaking a sweat so far. When I lost, it was due to a big misplay on my part or my opponent playing a deck that totally countered mine coincidentally in almost all cases, like a Secret Mage that ran Spellbender and Counterspell two each.
Additionally, this deck benefits from the fact that the prevalent decks barely play spot removal. If that fact should change or more very controllish builds with tons of removal should appear, I would suggest using Elise the Trailblazer (I sadly don't own that card).
