Been playing the game without sound for a year now. Sound seem superfluous and distracting. The rope timer puts you in panic mode. Sometimes, I multitask and the sounds is intruding.
This is the optimised version. The deck feels very crisp and extremely unfair.
This deck is essentially a more aggressive druid. Play big minions. Then finish with burst similarly to pre-nerf force of nature.
The wild version I was referring to ran a milhouse and x2 ancestral spirit. Milhouse surprisingly worked but I ended up deciding he was too risky in certain matchups. I was facing a lot of nzoth paladins and warriors at that time so I decided to put in x2 ancestral spirit. Ancestral spirit works excellently with your cheap massive minions. I am now facing a lot of miracle rogues and aggro shamans so I've decided to remove them.
One difficult thing I've realised over the course of a 100 games is master of evolution is not good enough. It's anti-synergy with this deck. The minion you evolve into in most cases isn't as good as the one you already have. The best evolve you can do is 5 mana into 6. Almost every 6 drop in the game is good. However, earth elemental is our only 5 drop, which is not worth evolving and also difficult to. The 2nd best evolve you can generally pull off is evolving your totem. That consistently gives the best stats. Anyway, master of evolution isn't good enough to run in this deck. it generally gives a worse minion.
I was also testing sir finley and squire. Squire is a must play against any form of aggro (zoo, shaman and ect.). Sir finley can be teched against slower decks like nzoth and warrior.
Where are you guys finding these aggro shamans? This has been my experience so far.
15-20 (a week ago) nzoth paladins+yog mages
10-14=extremely diverse
5-9=patron warrior
hmmm, after I optimised my deck, I seemed to be getting "luckier" and less "unluckier". Perhaps, bad luck is an illusion of a bad deck in the long run?
Alright, I think iceblock+fireball/some spell is the best deck (highest average winrate). It only loses to loathweb and you even have a chance to win if he keeps drawing innovate.
Loatheb + Innervate destroyes Manawyrm + Frost Nova and Rage Unbound (since they can never get off their innervates) Naturalize + Coldlight also beats Rage Unbound since they spend a lot of resources to play one big guy that gets killed by a 1 mana removal, and they can outmill the manawyrm decks since they don't build a board as fast as Bolster Warrior/Mechwarper Hunter. Mindblast decks are fun too, but once again, Loatheb beats them and Ice Block + Fireball beats them etc.
Ice Block + Forgotten Torch - Beats damage decks (can beat mechwarper) but loses to healing or Loatheb. Target Dummy + Bolster - Curves out really fast. Beats everyone dead if they don't lose board. Loses to Loatheb. Naturalize + Coldlight Oracle - Beats any deck that relies on innervating a big minion and if it can survive past the opening turns it mills you quite fast.
Mid Tier:
Shield Block + Upgrade! - Has stall and cycle, build a big weapon and smack face. Slightly worse than Ice Block Mage. Lightwell + Inner Fire - Can beat out aggro decks and stall burn decks. Loses to mill/grow/Loatheb. Bilefin Tidehunter + Evolve - If they can get good evolves can aggro down an opponent. If they lose board they lose.
Hm, played against the loathweb+innovate. It wasn't that overwhelming really.
Edit: Forgot to mention the awesome counter meta deck Innervate + Loatheb. It shuts out every deck that runs spells to the point where Loatheb just destroys you. Your 0/5s get killed instantly and you can never cast Inner Fire. Meanwhile he builds a board to the state where he just wins.
The only thing this deck really beats that is relevant is Ice Block +Forgotten Torch/Fireball which is good, but the Loatheb deck beats this anyways since they can never get their block down.
Yept, I won like 10 games then started running into other decks. I realised no deck has 100% winrate but there a few great ones.
Manawyrm+frost nova
innovate +rage unbound
mindblast+powerword glory/light of narru
For the mechwarper+saber, you can innerfire them to reduce their damage.
The coldlight+naturalise is the most op I've seen.
Am getting wasted versus some of the C'Thun decks (druid mostly) but am winning most of the many mirror matches.
Zoo locks is mostly depending on draw, but I like the deck a lot. It feels more fun... And I love the inclusion of Earth and Unbound Elemental... just feels right.
I get wasted by zoo most of the time. You pretty much have to get tunnel trog into wolves or golem to win. Cthun decks should be easy to beat though, especially druid. The hex out tempos them so hard and they have no way of dealing with your big minions.
The deck is still getting optimised so this isn't the final version. The new version I have is quite wild... I'll post it once I test it some more.
Do you think it will make the cut? Betrayal is a very good comeback card but almost useless in a winning situation and against very heavy decks like control warrior.
So after a week or more of trying different decks.... curiosity finally got the better of me and decided to just try shaman.....
I knew it was going to be solid, but jesus its far more than OP it just feels literally BROKEN, I don't get to play that much with work and such so started rank 19, I had an hour or so last night and nearly 2 hours tonight and I closed hearthstone at rank 14..... D: D: D:
I came out with at LEAST 80-85% win rate I don't even play continuously, I usually have a couple games go watch twitch or do other things then come back... half the time even when my opponent played correctly and had answers I still found a way to just get wins from nowhere!
So yeah I thought people were just being a little OTT and just salty but after giving this a try, I feel everyone's pain and hope I don't see it much on the ladder (HAHA good joke right?)
Oh my, what an achievement. You managed to get to RANK 14. Do you want a cookie?
If you're stuck at rank 20, perhaps the problem lies with you?

lmao all the bias people in this thread. How can you make a judgement without actually seeing his gameplay?

Iceblock+ice lance is actually pretty good. Pretty much beats anything that isn't loathweb.
I've also seen innovate+mana wraith to counter some decks.

Beats any pure face deck. Beats most minion based decks. To beat molten mage, you fatigue them to death. Don't rush them.
Pretty much they can't beat the infinite heal. Beats all fatigue decks as well.

The Hearthstone community:
Hates aggro. Aggro=no skill
Cthun deck=control=no skill
Interesting observations.
