Huh...very interesting, a deck that makes use of Divine Strength...I'm more of a control deck type of player and try to avoid net decks as much as possible, but the inclusion of that card really intrigued me...I think I'll give this one a shot. I might even mix it a little bit to try to integrate it to a mid-range deck I'm trying to make.
I have a question, if your mission was to make use of buffs and divine shield minions, why did you avoid using Fjola Lightbane? She gains divine shield every time she gets buffed. Is she too slow?
With a lot of weapons in your deck i think the best you can do is to get as much value out of your cards. Pirates are just a bit weak. Control decks usually run Really big threats and a few removal but most of the time not a 2/2 weapon, most minions nowadays are 3 or 4 attack in the early stages. And also using this on turn 2 and then finding yourself in a position you need to play Rallying blade on turn 3 isn't a great way to start the game most of the time. And in the later stages 2 attack is basically worth nothing.
That is just what i feel that will happen in general. Does make it challenging tho :)
You're right that is a bit of a bummer eh? I made a tiny change to the rules to make it more flexible. The Argent Lance does not appear to be a favorite.
The first I can think of is trying to create a Pirate deck, but... Aren't there just too many essential cards for different archetypes together? If only there was a card that would destroy one of your weapons to do something else, but... There isn't. Then, I am left with the concern that there are too many weapons.
Well since too many weapons is always a constant concern, I made a slight change to the rules. Also the Steward of Darkshire thing is true, but that means that this deck would not run Steward of Darkshire heh. Got any ideas?
Interesting idea i like it, no combination would be the best deck in standard but it should end up in atleast half decent decks for a good deck builder
The fact that you have card synergies doesn't have to mean that you absolutely need to make them synergize right? Rallying Blade has value in itself as just a good removal tool for 3 mana
I agree Rallying Blade is definitely very useful to remove those pesky early game threats. Do you have any combination ideas? What I was hoping was to make a weaponized control paladin that heals himself or armors up with Sir Finley Mrrgglton first and then upgrade the power with Justicar Trueheart. Didn't work out too well though so I decided to do this to see what the community does with it.
So guys, I will give you 10 cards. These can't be replaced except for Argent Lance and what I am asking here is for you to build a deck around these cards. It could be any archetype, but it has to fit standard. I hope you're willing to do this because I'm hoping to use your ideas to learn.
I've been thinking a lot about this lately and wanted to ask the community about their opinions regarding Enter the Coliseum. As most should probably know control Warriors run Brawl in order to handle the pesky N'Zoth decks. A little similar, so, do you think it would be smart to carry around a copy of Enter the Coliseum in order to easily answer N'Zoth? Do you think it would simply be enough to run only equality and consecration against some of those scary and heavy control decks?
It looks interesting, but also makes me think that if that is how a midrange deck works, it might not exactly be what I am looking for. I guess I could try to lean towards a more weaponized control deck and try to mimic the warrior play style with a paladin healing twist to it. I get what was wrong with the deck now. It was too slow and lacks tempo and does not have a strong late game for how slow it is. I'll work on it.
But I don't want to give up on the current form just yet, I will try to make something similar with the mama curve your example has.

More than likely, but, got any ideas?

Interesting looking :) thanks.

Good in aggressive decks I believe. One large minion does not hurt.

Nope, wasn't kidding at all. Well I guess I could remove the argent lance. But the challenge is still there.

Thanks for the replies guys. That really helps. Shame that Enter the Coliseum still won't get to shine even though the situation seems applicable.
