posted a message on Will opening C'Thun reset the pity counter?

A pity timer isnt actually confirmed, so dont even worry too much about it. Plus the so called "pity timer" apperently only works on the same pack type. So that means since youre opening a new pack type, youre starting a new so called pity timer.

posted a message on Why ppl keep asking for nerf on like everything?

There are some cards that do, in fact, need to be nerfed. (Im looking at you Dr. Boom) but many times people are just trying to justify their loss/lack of skill on the "Overpowered P2W Cards" theyre up against.

Rogue players everywhere would like to have a word with you lmao. Atleast you have more than 1 viable deck deck as warrior.

I feel like if youre going to go down that route just run a copy of shadowstep/conceal to guarantee the actual draw for the combo. Plus, conceal and shadowstep are just better cards overall and would seem to be more consistant.

posted a message on New Hero Power?

I was thinking it was going to be something like Shadow Dance (Rogue spell from WoW) where you no longer need to a card played beforehand to trigger combos, or maybe it gives you a set of cards for a turn that can be used for burst potential? Not too sure, but the art looks awesome.

posted a message on Is anyone more nervous than excited about what cards we get?

I have took another look why this card seems so weird to me. Its not only the fact that the body is weak to make trades on turn 4, but its that he seems too overcosted for what he does

    4 mana card with a 3/2 body of a 2 mana card

it gives you 2 cards that cost 1 mana each to use, therefore it's basically a 6 mana 3/2 with say, 2 Blessing of mights added (+3 toxins) so if you had blessing of might in your deck somehow, you could do that same play on turn 4 (2 blessings on a 2 mana 3/2)

At this point youre esentially paying 2 mana to DRAW the toxins and not even play them and that is, if your deathrattle doesnt get silenced. I know it has to cost to draw them since youre not wasting deckslots but 2 mana seems a lot to me.

Dont get me wrong, I think this card has potential anyway and im most likely going to use it, but I cant help to feel like this card is over costed. Either the Toxins should cost 0 or he should be 3 mana in mu opinion. Feel free to prove me wrong, which I probably am.

Can someone convince me that Xaril is a good card? In Maly rogue maybe, but im so tired of playing the same deck and its an awful tempo card. I wish they would have made the toxins cost 0 or give him +1 health or attack since, you know, class legendary.

Xaril is like Azure Drake for cheaper and grabs 2 cards instead of 1.
Azure Drake's been a staple since forever despite its subpar stats.
Yeah but azure drake also doesnt die to 1 drops and gives spell power.
Ive been thinking, maybe if it had Discover instead of Battlecry, it would seem to be worth the value and be better as a situational card. Amazing concept, and I hope that this card is actually way better in practice, but im just not impressed with this being a class legendary.

His stats are so low It's disgusting.  A 3/2.  For 4 mana.  It doesn't matter how good the effect is when he dies to leper gnome, he could have easily been 4/3 or 3/3.

4/3 would probably too good, but then again, Rogue needs some "too good" cards. 3/3 sounds reasonable but this is a 4 mana card that dies to infested tauren. Its kind of gross.

The Hearthstone team is definitely getting better at producing playable cards, I'm actually not too worried. LoE's overall design made me pretty hopeful for future sets, and bought some good faith from me.

TGT was rough in a lot of ways but mostly because it was an expansion overshadowed by the power level of the previous expansion. With the power level getting a decrease we might be surprised what ends up being pretty good.

Also, still deep in my heart I believe Pirates could be a thing. Even if I have to play it in Wild, Pirate Rogue is a deck that just feels like a happy time.

A few of the cards theyre releasing seem a little weak and not playable even compared to current basic cards. I know they want to reduce the power creep, but a few seem pretty useless.  The 4mana 2/3 tauren and the 4 mana 1/1 copy stats. The faceless one seems like it is just made for handlocks/reno decks, and the Tauren one is just. Meh. I cant see it being used at all, Tazdingo is everything and better. Dont get me started on the warlock cards either. Both seem to be completely useless (for ranked), a 10 mana run yourself into fatigue card and a really cool but RNG heavy... Finley on crack?
im fine with them toning down the power creep, if anything im ecstatic, but they dont need to print more useless cards and especially ones for a class thats been playing the same damn deck for years.
Anyways, as someone currently playing pirate rogue at rank 5, I really hope they definitely buff the pirate archtype. I wish that ship's cannon wasnt rotating out, its probably my favorite damn card in the whole deck.

The new card is NOT a replacement for the cards that are leaving, it would be a replacement for Loot Hoarder. Contrary to what most people say... Undercity Huckster does not make raptor rogue viable again. Not that it was exactly viable before, but still.

I'm affraid that Undercity Huckster is going to be another card out of the many rogue cards presented in the hearthstone expansions/adventures that are great in a vacuum but just dont really fit in any competitive rogue deck.

It would be a pretty good card for tempo rogue of they give us a few more cards and options for it.
I think this actually might make Raptor a lot better (I personally hate Nerubian Egg, but it's really the strongest deathrattle to copy t3), but even just on paper I was thinking about it and it really does sound like it'll need play testing before we can pass final judgement. Burgle in a control rogue list I was running for a little bit was actually really, really good. You'd whiff sometimes, but generally it's like Thoughtsteal where you tend to just accept that bad luck as long as a majority of the time you get something useful (most cards are useful).
The fact this is half a burgle with a body attached is interesting, though I am so salty we got another 2/2. I'm sure they probably playtest cards like this and Cutpurse at 2/3 and then realized it's unbalanced, but it's a little demoralizing.
At first I hated the card, now I'm starting to think maybe that was premature and I'll move this into the "Promising but needs testing" category. It really, really depends on how many death rattles we get to make raptor good. And how badly our basic cards get hit. :(
My faith for the Brodester is slipping.
