Leokk is a Wyvern, so quite certain it will be a beast.

MurocAggroB posted a message on Resurrection Wording InconsistencyPosted in: General DiscussionI dislike little inconsistencies in card text. Yes, I know Hearthstone is informal as far as text goes, but it's still nice when mechanics mean what they say. One that really bugs me is the word Resurrect. To date, 21 cards have abilities that return minions that died to life. Of those, three use the phrase "Return it to life", three use "Resummon", two use "Resurrect", and the rest use "Summon... that died this turn/game".
The issue I have is that Resurrect is a clean, succinct pseudo-keyword that shortens the text on Lesser Diamond Spellstone and Kangor's Endless Army really nicely. In particular, the normal convention makes Twilight's Call unwieldy. One big thing the Hearthstone team prioritizes is snappy card text, so tell me if these examples aren't more snappy?

B0n3d4ddy posted a message on Rotation Rotation Rotation :-)Posted in: General DiscussionShaman is losing quite a lot, too. With Unstable Evolution and Kalimos two of the major cards in one of the few still existing shaman decks are rotating. Another deck will be missing the spellstone and Snowfury Giants, so that will be gone, too.
So no, they will not stay the same. Even though they are in a tough spot right now anyways, so none of their cards are as polarizing as for other classes.
Healing Rain and Volcano are probably the two most prominent losses for any kind of slow Shaman list. I fail to see how those should be viable (as if they've ever been...) since in case of doubt you'd be reliant on Lightning Storm highrolls again. Shudderwock is losing a good chunk (just check the usual Elemental lists) of battlecry support as well.
The only hope I have left is for Aggro/Burn Shaman. The deck is already semi-viable, it just needs a POWERFUL 1-drop (maybe a 2-drop too, as Menacing Nimbus doesn't really belong here). Since there are Earthen Might and Elementary Reaction my idea would be: 1 mana X/X, Elemental tag without Overload. Maybe something more playable than Dust Devil but less broken than Tunnel Trogg. With Flametongue Totem being nerfed they don't have to fear the Shaman early game becoming overpowered again. Ah well, let's wait for the rotation!

Heit needs to be a strong choice or that whole keyword is for naught outside of Wild where you have fewer robut cards to work with. Leavehimit alone. -

TardisGreen posted a message on Problem with warrior class.Posted in: General DiscussionMuch of Whisper of the Old Gods meta game was dubbed "Warrior Stone" by the community, because Warrior had about five Tier 1/2 decks (Dragon, Control. C'Thun, Tempo, and Worgen-OTK).
How quickly they forget.
BTW, both Odd Warrior (with/without Quest) and Rush Warrior are perfectly fine now.

Psy_Kik posted a message on Control players are not superior to any otherPosted in: General DiscussionLets face it, both control and combo decks are easier to play right now than they ever have been. The power level compensates for lack of skill somewhat, and the way they play out is far easier than it was in the past, with incredible draw tools compared to what we used in the past, and simple hand dumping to achieve the win condition.
The pinnacle of this game IMO were the two old warrior archetypes - old-school wallet control warrior in terms of resource management and then patron warrior in terms of maths and ability to manipulate the board to make the most of your combo. Continuing with the warrior class as the example I say the downturn started with Taunt/Quest Warrior - yes in theory it's a control deck but consider how easy it is to play in comparision, even if in general terms, it is not more powerful. You can extrapolate this to pretty much all modern combo/control decks across all classes - they've been dumbed down significantly.
Aggro on the other hand has never really changed.
