It was a bit costy cuz i didnt have any of the legendaries but im happy and thats fine with me. I've made some replacements though because the meta requires weapon removal and silience(for those pesky paladins and hoot hooters(warlocks xD)). Ive added 1x Rusty Viper/1x Royal Librarian/1x Yogg Fate variant. The reason i have Yogg is pure fun but i was actually surprised of how many games that card saved me (eating a full buffed paladin board for example, juicy :P). To fit them i removed 1x Hearth of the wild (mostly dead card in hand so i thought why not cut it to 1 copy)/1x Vibrant Squirel(other cards were too important to replace so that was what came to mind for me) and 1x Clawfury Adept( same reason with squirel). I have some testing to do but so far im happy with the current version.

Wanted to play something with Wildheart Guff and came across your deck. Didnt have cthun so had to craft it as well but didnt mind it considering its a fun card so why not.
Unfortunately didnt have too much success with it, only managed to win one game kinda luckily against a zoo warlock. On the other hand I ran into pretty refined decks - for example quest warrior :X god I hate that shit or a quest mage... Overall felt like the beast package is not that significant.
Anyway if anyone is interested in a gameplay video you can check it bellow, maybe u will find the mistakes that lost me these games

One is a broken party. Like... I think I closed the app while creating a party. since then this party is unusable, uneditable and undeletable. If that happens 8 more times .... :D
And the other one is *amazing*. I mean .... I'm sure I have a standard issue iphone and I bet it happens to 1000s other players: Many tooltips of enemy actions are outside the screen.... ok, so .... what is that character gonna do? ... -

Like most people are saying, the issue isn't with the power level of Shudderwock its in the long animation run times. In terms of power level Shudderwock is no more powerful than Cube Warlock or Quest Mage, and the combo itself is slow to set up. Certainly much slower than Cube Warlock, making it quite susceptible to faster decks. I honestly hope they don't change the card too much (outside of the animations fix and maaaaybe nerfing him to 10 mana), since Shaman needs a way to win games too.

Damn, I was hoping this would be a 3 mana minion so that you could potential hero power on turn 5 and at least be "OK" tempo-wise. It was obvious from when we learned the name of the card that it would likely destroy totems to gain stats, but I kinda like the version I theorized about better.
For those who don't want to track down my old comment, I suggested this be a 3 mana 3/3 minion with Battlecry: Destroy all Totems to gain their stats and abilities. And while the official Totem Cruncher gains better stats per totem destroyed, my version had the baseline of 3 attack, could come out on turn 3, not to mention gaining the abilities of the totems you sacrifice could make the minion quite versatile. Even with just 1 basic totem you would end up with a 3/5 with Taunt/totem ability or a 4/4. Also worth mentioning I said ALL totems, which include your opponents in those rare situations where you're facing opposing totems.
Oh well, it was a fun idea. At least the official version has Taunt by default.

While I do agree with your overall analysis, it's still worth mentioning that this can be another decent removal tool for Hunter. Sure, the examples you gave for Hunter's Mark are valid, but why not run both? As I see it, the existence of this card means Hunter has more tools to play a slower styled deck, which they've only recently had a small amount of success with.

The Darkness is an interesting combo idea to supplement the other proposals you've made here. Honestly the most fun parts about theorycrafting :3
