Pardon me if I take this Runeterra prediction with a grain of salt.

 Well to be honest mtga bitch slapped hs like a truck. It took a huge crowd from it permanently. I and every player that i know has dropped hs completely for mtga. Sure 22 people are nothing for a mathematical or analytical conclusion but you can see a pattern nontheless.

And lol's card game seems pretty good as well. 

Just because the game is still being played doesn't mean it's not good or can't be better. Don't be allergic to criticism. My biggest gripe with the game is that the current belief is that the game has to be rock/paper/scissors. That control must defeat aggro, that aggro must defeat combo, that combo must defeat control, midrange is dead, etc. Maybe it's rose-tinted glasses but I recall even in metals like Grim Patron Warrior or greedy Reno decks that you could play smart and beat the decks favored against you. That rather than a deck having a 90% win rate vs it's favored prey, it was closer to 60%, so clearly a deck as favored but the other guy had a fighting chance. A polarized meta where the best move is bottom right is bullshit. We've had good metas in the past, why not bring them back?

I think the player base is shrinking and that's why bli$$ard is going so hard with paid content now. Paid Dungeon run, paid portrait in every expansion. This feels like Bli$$ard thinks the game is dying at least.

 Testing takes money, forethought, patience, and interest.  Why bother doing any of that when you can just release some cards for free hype?  They allowed Patches, Genn/Baku, they don't really care about balance.

IMO Evolve Shaman is more of a problem than the mages, 3 4 drops drops turn 3 with coin is the epitome of toxic gameplay.

This pretty much summarizes hearthstone a the moment. Less skill, more RNG

This is certainly not LUCK, but just one of several hidden and undisclosed ways Blizzard uses to keep customers coming back and still interested in the game.

Left for a long time? Blizzard make your card packs matter like you´ve just described.

Haven't completed new quests for weeks? Whenever I do that, I get the "Challenge a Friend" quest, no doubt the best quest in the game, reward-wise.

The current expansion is already getting old and interest is dwindling? You magically get better and better cards from packs, AS IF there was something like a "Magic FInd Property" (like MF in Diablo) to give you more LUCK.

The current expansion has just been released? That Magic Find will be at it's lowest and cards from packs will not yield that many Legendaries.

Can anyone PROVE I am wrong?
