posted a message on When you netdeck are YOU truly playing?

I play to have fun. For me, winning is fun. Therefore, I play to win.

If that means net decking, so be it. Typically I'll lookup a successful deck and tweak it to what I am going up against, but in no way is it my own. But I win more than half my games so I am having fun.

Quit crying that it's "cheap" or "unfair." What rules are you playing by? The game doesn't care what kind of deck was used, only wether you win or lose. A scrub is not someone who netdecks. A scrub is someone who cry on the forums because some other player broke some asinine self-imposed rules.

posted a message on Bolvar or illidan?

Illidan Stormrage is a fun card to play, but there are better options for that slot. It never won me any games and only ever shined when the game was already won.
Bolvar Fordragon can be a great card. Unfortunately (at least for me) it was a dead card in my hand too many times.

posted a message on Program that show your deck when you play

Looks like I'm slow on the edit above, but like was stated by fabisco, Trump video edits the list for his youtube videos. Live, that doesn't happen.

posted a message on Program that show your deck when you play

Typically streamers post a screen shot and add it to the side. I've never seen it delete/cancel/whatever from the list when a card is drawn though. Are you sure you've seen that?

If you're watching it on youtube/VoD, they are simply video edits, not an actual addon

posted a message on nerf Goblin Blastmage?

Class cards are better than neutral counterparts. That doesn't mean it is OP.

I wish people would stop whining for nerfs simply b/c they lose to a card. Learn to anticipate your opponent's play. You can nerf all the cards you want, there will be something that appears OP to you. Either that or the game will get boring.

posted a message on What if you had a Rank for each class?

What would be the benefit of this? Why make this change? Only players with a ridiculous amount of free time would be able to adapt to a shifting meta.

This is an incredibly terrible idea!

Taking it a step back, how about the first time you reached Legend with a particular class, it unlocks a thing.

There is a unique thing for each of the nine classes.

This sounds like a much better idea

posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place!

I'd just like to point out that if you are around 13-14, you are better than you give yourself credit. According to Blizz, only the top 25% of players make it to rank 15 or better.

You may find this article interesting: http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/blog/15955974/hearthside-chat-youre-better-than-you-think-9-18-2014

I mean, if you're not having fun, quitting or at least taking a break may be a good thing. But your rank is not bad. It's simply not great

posted a message on Why won't Hearthstone let me concede?
    Quote from H1ghZ3nB0rg »

There should be some kind of override for concedes then, so it at least allows the person conceding to leave the game. The game could still play out the animations for the winning player.

I kinda agree with you on that...

But I don't think it is logistically possible. More based on server/client lag, it is entirely possible that your opponent is already seeing the animations before you actually clicked concede.

I'll usually give my opponent a few seconds to start making moves (they might have quests they care about). But once the moves start to happen, I click concede. That way, as long as they weren't being a dick, they can finish the quests/feel the glory of finishing me off/whatever. But if they are going for some BM, the concede kicks in and I move on to the next game.

If your opponent actually immediately makes plays or the cards attack instead of wasting time or trying to BM, all those moves are registered before you clicked concede.
