Been trying Sheldras Moontree lately since I got it as one of my two golden legendary. I must say he have explosive power!!! Sure, the power is relative to what you face... Warlock quest been an issue... And quest druid... still trying to figure out what to tech in/out to have better chance against those... or if I should simply accept those lost.
Here is the deck I have had the most success so far.
So.... anyone else is thinking of doing a turn 5 OTK with this quest?
I'm thinking....
Before turn 5 - Draw Darkglare and Stealer of Souls with Free Admission. Turn 5 play both Darkglare and Stealer of Souls. 3 mana left. Play Backfire. 0 mana.... .. . Darkglare... 1 mana left. Draw a bunch of card that now cost life. Play card that now cost life... advancing your quest, restoring mana(Darkglare) and hopefully drawing more card. Repeat until quest is completed. Play Blightborn Tamsin. Play more card that now cost life and hopefully make you draw more until opponent is dead.
Obviously... totally unreliable, but still.. possible?
hum... that's nothing new... Imprisoned Scrap Imp on turn 2 > +2/+1 to everything in hand turn 4 + Maiev Shadowsong it back was slow but something possible to do too.
Fact is, when Maiev was revealed 1/2 year ago, lot of player where crazy about her interaction with other dormant minion... But If I recall correctly, that set got out with Demon Hunter as a new hero, being very strong.... and Shaman quest still being in play with the double battlecry...
So Maiev was to slow for the meta back then and no one played her beside of a mean to turn dormant an opponent taunt minion to go face damage... And even so.... She was just bad.
A majority of the card got me into theorycraft since the beginning of the reveal which is very good because previous release got me bored quickly and even managed to make me take a break.
I mostly play Warlock with some rogue or druid to change the mood. But the Paly quest get me really excited to try a Silverhand deck with 20+ card that cost 1.
Shaman quest feel... OP?!? Might be left over trauma from the previous Shaman quest with "Double battlecry"....
You have to remind yourself that it's both a Shaman and Druid card. The change you are suggesting make no sense in the current card setup dual class card Shaman/Druid have. So you are essentially making that card "Shaman only" until more dual class card get release with overload to Druid....
None to my knowledge. But how often have you had to face a situation where druid will have a board full of 3/3 minions on turn 1?
You are trying to get nerfed something that happen... once every 20, 50 or maybe only once every 100 game... + you bring nothing on how you would like it getting nerfed...
Just take the loss if it happen.. Most of the time the druid will only manage to build his board on turn 3/4 and by then you have plenty way of dealing with it.
People here are requesting nerf to everything and it's getting annoying.
Curious though... how would you guys nerf that combo?
Gibberling can't hardly touch it's cost without adjusting his stats... 0/1 for 1 mana... could maybe work; 1/2 for 2 mana is more likely... 1/1 for 2 mana and the card is most likely dead.
Lightning Bloom is also a shaman card... can't touch it without also nerfing Shaman.
Seriously... their is not much to nerf here... Out of the rare case where the combo get out and you win on turn 3... the deck die to almost anything if you tech some aoe. The best nerf to this deck is for you to adjust your deck by including aoe damage.
I mean...This is a agro/token Druid deck... anything that does AOE damage will wreak that deck if it doesn't draw a godly hand from the start. Sure once in a while you will see the druid fill the board with 7 Gibberling by turn 3 and they are 3/3 stats each (never seen them reach 4/4 by turn 3 yet)... But usually those Gibberling are 2/2 ... that's if the Druid was lucky enough to have it in it's starting hand.

Good morning all,

Sure, the power is relative to what you face... Warlock quest been an issue... And quest druid... still trying to figure out what to tech in/out to have better chance against those... or if I should simply accept those lost.

I purchased the big pack.
2 guaranteed Golden Leg : Lost in the Park & Sheldras Moontree
85ish pack : The Rat King, Maestra of the Masquerade & Auctioneer Jaxon
So... beside the druid quest... all of those legendary are unplayable.... Nice...
Decided to spent my gold for an additional 21 pack : Bolner Hammerbeak

Flightmaster Dungar 5 turn effect would also benefit from Voidtouched Attendant... The hardest part would be to have them both on board at the same time...
Doesn't C'thun cost 10? you would need to reduce one of the card cost...

Elwynn Boar... just WOW!!!! I love him already.
And obviously I have been rolling Flightmaster Dungar in my Warlock deck since I got him and he will never leave it.

Just realized though that Far Watch Post is an hard counter to that card...
2
So Goru the Mightree but a lot less draw dependent.... near guaranteed that on turn 6 you'll be summoning 2 x 3/3 Silver Hand with your hero power.
Add to that Pursuit of Justice & Lothraxion the Redeemed.... Paladin are going to be very strong next standard...

You are playing a card game...

I found out that Big Game Hunter work very well with the new Paladin deck.

Power of the Wild increase to 3 mana?... I doupt it...

So tech in some AOE board clear and that combo is dead ... Consecration, Breath of the Infinite, Hellfire, Immolation Aura. Risky Skipper, etc...
