Coolest Legendary in the Game - flavorwise - played him already long time ago...

for real viability today see above... if you need sth really important you should disenchat - on the other hand... you will keep getting him on your classic packs if you do so... so think about keeping him and wait for the next legendary you dont own (if there is something important missing)

posted a message on Top Five Highest Win-Rate Witchwood Decks

    Quote from Leaga >>

To all those complaining about how few Witchwood cards are in these decks:

First, one of these only runs one new card and yet is a completely new style of deck. Never have we been able to flood the board the way odd paladin does. One new card spawned an entire archetype and revived cards that haven't seen meta play since beta (ie Sword of Justice, Stormwind Champion). That's a much bigger impact than you are giving it credit for.

Second, of course mostly refined decks that only sub a few new cards are going to be top for the first weekend because, and lets see if you can track the logic on this, the decks are already mostly refined. Just because these are the best decks for the first few days does not mean they are the best decks. It means that they were the easiest to optimize. Which totally makes sense if you think critically for 5 freakin seconds. A deck with a lot of new cards needs a lot of experimenting and refinement before it will perform well. A deck without a lot of new cards doesn't. Shocker.

Third, lets look at some cards that haven't seen meta play in the last year and are in the above lists because of WW: Mindbreaker, (post-nerf) Bonemare, Psychic Scream in Spiteful Priest, Tortollan Shellraiser, Archmage Antonidas in a non-combo deck, Breath of Sindragosa, Ironbeak Owl, Blessing of Might, Light's Justice, and the aforementioned Sword of Justice and Stormwind Champion. Most of those aren't just in the lists because of rotation. They are meta calls adapting to the strengths of the new decks.

The above decks "only" containing 10 new cards is the worst measuring stick for the impact WItchwood has had over the last 4 days. Think critically for a minute and you might be able to figure that out for yourself.

     Thank you very much!

    Boys and Grils!
I don't know what to say, but THANK YOU BLIZZARD! Afteer 1,5 years of very weird metas where only 3-5decks where really viable...

The Witchwood is sooo good as an expansion... Letz see what we got after 4 days of playtesting:

--> Classic Cards which havent been used since ages now see play again (Ironbeak Owl, Stormwind Champion, Raid Leader etc.)
--> I had never so much fun and actually think about how to tech my decks since 3 years... we see Mindbreaker, Big Game Hunter, Spellbreaker, The Black Knight, Harrison Jones, Acidic Swamp Ooze, Gluttonous Ooze, and much more stuff
--> Literally the Odd/Even design brought so many new and old cards back into the game, which is really cool, and it totally changes the way a game plays out imho
--> tested 8 out of 9 classes (only Mage missing) and really every class seems playable to a certain distinct, although it looks like Priest and Shaman get some Problems
--> But even them have something to go for - which was kinda missing in last expansions

--> We finally get the Golden CardGame Cycle going again: CONTROL Beats AGGRO beats COMBO beats CONTROL... and so on...
--> and even MIDRANGE somewhere in between will find its place , im sure!

    What are your Opinions?

I really dont get tired of testing some new stuff, and it really looks like every "CANCER" can be countered  by another deck type - thats really cool!
Possible most consistent is Cubelock but hey, thats just because it has the most strongest cards for now - But rogue destroys even that :D

This is the worst meta ever, that's my opinion

Why ? The point of a rotation is to make the meta fresher

Right now near legend (Ranks 4-1 ) The only decks I face : Cubelock, Aggro Paladins ( Odd or Even) and Spiteful Decks

    THE EXACT SAME META .

    This rotation  was a failure

i actually can not say the same things - i see new decks every 3rd game and spiteful decks and also aggro pala are really easy to counter if you know how - taunt druid e.g. is super strong vs paladin and let them cry in corner, and for spiteful... see above, i added big game hunter and get my ass of laughing when they play their 6 mana 4/4

    Ok Guys!

I changed the list also a little now - added the 2 x Hungry Ettin's and 2x Rotten Applebaum

also added  Harrison Jones and 1x Big Game Hunter to get sth vs Cubelock skull and Mountain Giant , as finisher i put in Cenarius, since hes super value with the buff and also can be a livesaver, far more viable then Ultimate Infestation

BGH is probably a tech spot, where you can add other stuff - but hes also really good vs Spiteful Summoner pulls and Edwin VanCleef gone wild or sth...

removed: 2x Grizzled Guardian, 2x Witchwood Grizzly, 1x Ultimate Infestation, 2x Astral Tiger

Add: 2x Rotten Applebaum, 2x Hungry Ettin, 1x Cenarius, 1x Big Game Hunter, 1x Harrison Jones

    Gimme your Feedbacks Bois! :)

add Tirion Fordring, i guess you miss lifegain and a choice to fight back on the board - should go better with these cards i mentioned top

This is a hyper aggro deck, Tirion Fordring is an ABSOLUTE no-no. I have no idea what deck you're playing, but if it has Tirion Fordring and you're calling it "aggro", there's something wrong with you. Also, if you're still losing board control even with you Call to Arms and other cards, there's a bigger problem than the deck.
It looks like you're using SjoW's decklist, which in my opinion, is the least optimised and worst version of the deck. Stubborn Gastropod and Dark Conviction are absolutely useless, and you don't need Silver Sword when you already have Val'anyr. It's 8 mana, get a Val'anyr buff and possibly +4/+4 to all minions on board. Either drop Silver Sword, or replace Val'anyr with Silver Sword.
If none of these things work, I recommend you try Thijs' decklist of Even Pally (and other decks) here: https://twitter.com/G2Thijs/status/984855942067089408

dunno whats wrong with you... He asked for a decklist on "EVEN Paladin" not a hyper aggro deck type variant... especially the even paladin has so many options to go the distance .. and since it seems that hes actually mostly  loosing to a lot of aggro, he should rather think about gaining some board presence. Where i am totally with you is about the point that valanyr and silver sword are to much, in my tests silver sword was much better since it helps you to create a better board
