Deck is incredibly fun to play, but I seem to be struggling a lot as I've managed to only pull out a couple wins in the last 10-15 games with it. Likely to be the player, and not the deck. Thanks!

I haven't seen a mech mage deck in literally months... so wherever you're getting these statistics from cannot be anywhere close to true.

If you used this deck to play one match and faced a mech mage to make your statement, then I could see how you could make this kind of ridiculous statement

Might want to get used to seeing him/playing him once standard format comes around. He is a great card to have in your deck.... I just feel like he was removed for a more optimal card to fit certain deck archetypes.

posted a message on Legend 11-2 Echoes

First off, this is a terrible rip-off of the echo giants decks which have existed forever. Playing it in legend doesn't make it a legend deck. I can't call the deck bad, because echo decks aren't bad. You're choosing to rely on trading to get value out of minions. I respect that.

Second off, what is the point of the video? It has no relevance to your deck.

This deck right here. This deck is the one. It took quite a few tries but I finally got it. Worth noting I was able to keep Sorcerer's Apprentice and Flamewaker on the board. Somehow got the Etheral Conjurer out also (which gave me an Arcane Explosion). I also needed to use both flamestrikes, a blizzard, and a fireball to finish the boss off. This boss is one mean mother-trucker. Good luck, all.

posted a message on [Heroic Lord Slitherspear] Fireball!

From what it appears, you need about 7 specific cards in at least 8 specific turns to make this work. Hope for a Sorcerer's Apprentice, Mad Scientist, and Echo of Medivh. Hope the scientist drops a duplicate so that you can play sorcerer's apprentice. Hope that Antonidas also drops, and hope you draw board clears until you can get one fireball, play sorcerer's apprentice, echo that, play both of them, and then get free fireballs.

I don't know about you guys buy I'm not much for hoping for anything like that to work, and after about 10 tries, I haven't gotten close yet. I'll keep trying my own variations and wait to see if a more viable deck surfaces. Good luck, all.

Excellent work. I was having issues with him using confuse about 4 times in a row, and the one time I got it to work, I drew 4 weapons in a row ><

Eventually got it to work and I punished him and made him drew his ancient curses til he died haha!

posted a message on TGT Super Control Warrior

It's quite possible his role in this deck can be questioned, but I'm including him for the following reasons:

    1. It's generally assumed that by the time you get around to playing him, the number of cards in your hand is at least 5 or more (for me it's usually more considering you don't make a play turn 1, armor up turn 2, etc), which means the mana reduction on that many cards gives the card its value by itself. Often it's argued if it should be included given that there is already a decent battle for the number of 6 drops in the deck, but playing this as close to turn 6 as possible gives optimal value.

    2. The mana reduction in the cards you get often helps control warrior curve out better, often giving yourself optimal plays that could possibly require 11 mana originally. I find myself playing sylvanas/brawl together as a board clear/control late into the game; something that would normally take two turns to do. Also, let's face it, playing Varian on turn increases Varian's value, as well as the cards drawn from it.

    Hope this helps!

posted a message on Do you dust all your golden cards?

I am yet another one of those who has spent too much money on the game and now looks specifically for golden cards when opening packs. Is there a group for Pack Openers Anonymous?! Some might ask why buy packs when you have all the cards, and yes I admit - I have a problem.

However, I do have a free to play account (which surprisingly is a lot of fun), and any golden cards I dust to make other cards I really need.
