Whether or not Sacred Trial kills Dr. Boom when played with 1 minion on board depends on how Blizzard codes this card, and I think it will be coded in a way that kills Dr. Boom in this scenario. It would go like this:

1. Dr. Boom enters play
2. Battlecry Phase: Summon Boom Bot x 2
3. Secret Activation Phase: Check if # of minions on board > 3 → Yes, so kill the minion being played (Dr. Boom)

Of course if Sacred Trial "remembers" whether there were more than 3 minions on the board when Dr. Boom is played and checks against that, it wouldn't behave this way. However, that's not how Blizzard had handled secret procs previously so I have my doubts.

Deathwing kills all other minions on the board, so no.

I think it would be playable even if Roaring Torch was 4 mana 6 damage, seeing how every mage runs 2Fireball.

Then it'd be like paying 1 mana for shuffling 1 extra Fireball into your deck. That still sounds like a reasonably good card.

Specifically, this would be a big buff to Freeze Mage and Blizzard should be careful in that regard. Players really hate playing against that particular deck, as it plays on it's own without much interaction with opposing player.

Like seriously people over-exaggerate all the fucking time about it being OP but it isn't a game winning card and there are just never situations where it just wins games on 4. So just stop saying stuff like this really.

Completely untrue... Savage combatant, twilight drake, twilight guardian, mountain giant, keeper of the grove, houndmaster, goblin blastmage, murloc knight, auchenai soulpriest, holy champion, defender of argus, violet teacher are all used quite a bit. And also you have to kind of look at the other 4 drops than those and look how shit most of them are so without shredder turn 4 would be garbage in so many situations.

None of those minions you mentioned compete with Piloted Shredder as they fulfill different roles, therefore irrelevant to this discussion.

Actually no because they are 4 drops and some used over top of shredder. Besides them what other 4 drops would be used if shredder wasn't a thing, chillwind yeti in every deck? Evil Heckler?? Lost tallstrider??? Other unconditional 4 drops are all complete trash so that's a huge reason to why shredder is played everywhere. Just because a card is used situationally doesn't mean it isn't a strong 4 drop.

If you see a deck with one of those but not Shredder, it's because that 4 drop slot in that particular deck is suited for that particular 4 drop. Their playability, if you will, depends very little on the power of Shredder. Most of them would still see play even if we BUFF shredder to 4/4. So they are not relevant to the discussion of other 4 drops not being played because of Shredder.

(Druid still good), Handlock worse, Secret Paladin better.

Rest will fall in line depending on how they adapt to this.

Well Blizzard kept their word and didn't really nerf Warsong Commander; they killed her instead.

I'd love to see it turned to Nat Pagle because I think it hurts hearthstone more than it helps. But if Blizzard is really adamant about keeping it as a viable card then I'd settle with increasing it's cost to 7. Until then, enjoy your Midrange Druid/Patron Warrior/Handlock

Challenging Shout: Too expensive.. Lower it to something like 2 mana. If it turns out to be too good then make it give only 2 armor.

Dark Bomb Engineer: Maybe shuffle one to deck?

Darnassus Sentinel: 3/3 charge is insanely good for 3 mana

Druid of Feathers: Difference between 1 damage and draw 1 is too much.
