siphon soul to kill your egg off?
I think a siphon soul is too good for that.
Maybe add the 2-2 that kils your own minion and gives 2 lackeys if you have a problem with killing it off.
There are so many options, but you gotta check what you need in those situations you are losing. Perhaps a silence or another dragon that gives value (because you can get in top deck mode very quickly). Some options:
Corrupt the Waters is not needed, and you can make it work without Shudderwock, but if you have it, your win chances increase much. And if you have it, it is a massive swing turn. Getting a random Zephrys the Great spell, 2 dragons for 0 mana with Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, and if you have other minions on board, you could get random Siamat choices into Faceless Corruptor.
Some cards are just good cards in Highlander decks, but don't get fooled, because there are many other replacements which might be cheaper. Even if you see a decklist with many legendaries and going for a control style of play, you can switch some cards and make it a bit more midrange or somewhat aggro or vise versa.
I think cards like Brewmaster, Shadowstep etc are completely fine for duplicating one off highlander cards because it's part of the game plan and requires you actively putting them in your deck. There are times when they are bad draws.
I do however personally think that Alex should not be discoverable by any "dragon discovery" card. It's just way too much of a swing and completely decides games when one person gets it and the other doesn't.
When they nerfed Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, I was kinda hoping that they would do this for the discover effects of other dragons as well. Sometimes you'll see a Dragon Hunter playing [card]Primordial Explorer[/card] and discover it 3 times off eachother. Not that it's OP or anything, but sometimes it is kinda annoying. Same for Druids playing Emerald Explorer or Azure Explorer or Bronze Explorer.
Like I said, it's not OP or anything, but still I think it would improve the game somewhat.
Have you thought about a highlander shaman? It is really fun to play and is competitive against all decks. It got me to rank 4 this season.
The problem with highlander decks is that it is the most expansive decks most of the time. So if you are on budget and have zephyrs then a highlander deck can still be too expansive.
otherwise I recommend playing non highlander decks but with fast draws like a warlock or rogue.
You must be a master mind. Making cards work for you that not many people play equals low rank. Shall we call Hunterace a noob for making Glinda good again? I’m always between rank 5 and legend, but okay. If you say otherwise, no problem :)
How many people are playing Bog Slosher and Brewmaster to bounce highlander support ? Only meme decks do such shenanigans. If you are losing against meme decks while playing meta decks then something is wrong with your gameplay and if you losing while playing meme decks then it is a fair game.
Bogslosher or Brewmaster, are very useful in highlander decks. if you don't agree, okay, but I can make it work very easily and it's imo really powerful.
I lose to those insane combos more than I win, but I wouldn't change them. People play creative stuff that puts these swing cards back in hand, or replays them, and that's cool.
I don't understand why you don't have duplicates and Myra's Unstable Element just to use Zephrys the Great in earlier stages.
In my opinion having duplicates and just use Zephrys the Great as a late option if you draw him from Myra's Unstable Element makes the deck stronger.
Isn't Chef Nomi a good addition? it would be insane just to draw your entire deck on turn 5 with Myra's Unstable Element because you have turn 6 Chef Nomi.
It is somewhat of a gamble, because of AoE and other stuff, but the combo seems insane.
I want to give a shout out to the OP. I can't recall the last time a thread on this website made me LOL so much. Those options were fantastic.
Thanks hahaha, I created the poll because of every deck has something that makes someone rage about it, I just wanted to see, what is being hated the most.
I'm opening Knights of the Frozen Throne packs, because I'm making a start in wild. I've opened Uther of the Ebon Blade and Lilian Voss. Not the best, but I'm trying to use Uther of the Ebon Blade in a Pure Paladin deck.
Galakrond Warrior is somewhat back indeed. But the thing is (same goes for Warlock actually), it is difficult to master it. That is why you're not seeing that many players (atleast I don't between R5 - R1). Knowing when to use which card is much more difficult in Galakrond Warrior then for example a priest/rogue or hunter deck.
Some great variations are:
