Access of infinite legendaries. The idea would be to wait to play it until you have both copies of Dead Man's Hand in your hand, so that you never run out.
Spiritsinger Umbra + Deathsteed = board of deathsteed
I did that one a couple days ago actually :). It was possible pre-Un'Goro over a couple turns with Baron Rivendare.
If we can go "convoluted" - discard Cruel Dinomancer, and no other creatures, then Spiritsinger Umbra for a board full of 5/5 respawning Dinomancers. That's actually all Standard, and not sure that's worth it since you can go Deathsteed/Mal'Ganis in wild.
For ridiculous combos that can't be used Kel'Thuzad is always popular, KT-White Eyes in Druid is nice - mix in a new Hemet and your deck is all 10/10s
I tried playing Renozoth quest priest for a bit. Deck is the most expensive suckitude I have, but dropping Amara when you're low on life and then a Reno back up to 40 is a LOT of life.
If you're serious about legend, you might want to wait until the meta is a bit more settled before spending all your dust.
My opinion - if you're making a deck from scratch - elemental Shaman is a good way to go - fire elemental, Blazecaller and Kalimos make for a stupid amount of damage with good bodies by turn 8 (turn 7 if you have the cost-reducer).
107 packs - 4 legends, 20 epic (3 duplicates, 2 gold) 2665 dust on mass disenchant
4 living mana (1 gold) Tyrantus Stampede 3 primordial glyphs 2 Meteors Last Kaleidosaur Biteweed (gold) 2 spirit echo Fire Plume Heart Explore Un'Goro Sudden Genesis Spiritsinger Umbra Bittertide Hydra Blazecaller Charged Devilsaur Primordial Drake
I'm playing Renozoth Priest in wild, so Umbra was a nice pull - alternating between Discolock and Hunter something in Standard, so the Stampede was nice but not much else help there.
In the current meta? It would need to be dam big. Not a spelling error - I mean it needs to be as big as a dam.
I think if Ancient One (35/35) were a playable card it MIGHT see play just because of cheats like Thaurissan, the new Druid Python, and as a counter to Dirty Rat. If Blizzard had more stat-based spells (like Druid's Earthen Scales) that might change.
I am currently playing a Mayor Noggenfogger OTK deck, which uses Fool's Bane + Heroic Strikes & Upgrades. Long story short, Fool's Bane can hit the enemy hero if Mayor Noggenfogger is in play, therefor I see no reason Meteor won't be able to do the same.
Fool's Bane can only hit the hero with Mayor Noggenfogger because the hero is a legal target for a weapon, and NF randomly chooses among legal targets. Fool's Bane attacking a hero is the same as any Ogre attacking a hero/non-taunt minion after attempting to attack a taunt minion - it's a legal attack for that card, but one that can only be made by the "random choice" effect bypassing a targeting restriction. Spells that say minion-only can't even be cast without a valid target. We've all seen plenty of Yogg (pre-nerf) where minion-only spells just had no target and fizzled - they don't hit heroes.
I think DyingAtheist is right and they actually announced you get the crafting value (not the disenchant value), so everyone should craft them now (if they don't already have them) for free cards in Wild.
The only time it makes sense to shuffle first is if you know, without doubt, that your opponent is playing millstone rogue and you're worried you will lose your second to overdraw. In other words, basically never.
*edit* - I can see a slight possible exception for secret mages where you're worried about counterspells, but Jade Druid runs so many spells, this shouldn't be a problem.
Anyone think Pint-Sized Summoner might finally get some love with this deck? It lets you play Loot Hoarder as a 1-drop, significantly improving the lack of card draw, and with this many tiny beasts both Scavenging Hyena and Crackling Razormaw have good synergies.
Weak body makes me think no, since anyone doing the quest will have to play catch-up, but it'd be interesting to try.
You do realize that Patches doesn't count towards the quest, right? Ditch the Pirates.
Weasel Tunneler has to be a bit higher than that - it warrants some thought since it's both beast and kills opponent tempo.
25 1-drops is a bit nuts. Curve is prolly better, but at the very least consider some buzzards (draw) or tundra rhino (charge with the brood). The 2-drop adapt-a-beast is also tempting even if you're going 1-drop heavy.
I guess you could think of doing hungry crab plus a Murloc or two, but generally I agree that Stampede and beast synergy is superior.
So here's a quandary for you... If you discarded a Silverware Golem and it was (obviously) summoned, will it still count towards being discarded for this?
I'm going to say yes, just based on...feeling? I'm pretty sure the game would still regard it as discarded even if it was summoned as a result of said discard.
I think you're right...
Silverware Golem says "If discarded" then summon, Clutchmother says "When discarded" add it back to your hand - neither say "instead of discarding." I think that has to mean Silverware Golem has been both discarded and summoned, while most normal minions have been both played and summoned.

What play style do you like?
If you don't have Patches the Pirate, that's probably one of the most versatile legendaries for cheap aggro decks...

Confirmed - same here. No Deathrattle on Arcane Giants that cost 0 or 1 when played from hand.

I assume this is still not going to be a thing even with The Marsh Queen?

New picture makes Tinkmaster Overspark sad. Devilsaur was his pride - why not reuse the picture?
