Lephas posted a message on May was the first month ever where i did not get my card backPosted in: General DiscussionAnd you know what? I really dont mind....
I play Hearthstone since beta and got all the monthly card backs since HS was launched. However the last few months it felt more and more like a struggle. The game got repetitive, the combos are basicly the same, the meta feels the same. The game lacks new innovation and i see no reason why i should even try to get 5 wins per month.
I will leave HS in the dust until they make major changes (that day may never come). The Time until now was fun but i'm moving on.

Chimera posted a message on How to stop Netdecking forever. *Share*Posted in: General DiscussionWhether or not this is trolling the entirety of the logic involved in creating this thread is greatly flawed. Netdecking is not plagarism, this is like saying students who all choose the correct multiple choice answer is plagarism. It's not work, it's assembling various pre-fabricated components for a desired result (as they were designed to be used). You're absolutely wrong if you think that nobody else should have an opportunity to play a particular selection of 30 cards that someone else is playing. Like not even a little bit, just extremely fucking wrong.
Besides this, your attitude towards others is terrible, and you are refusing to consider any of the very valid points being made in this thread. Instead you are simply repeating your flawed logic in a completely ignorant manner and also spamming the same response in multiple posts. This thread is worthless in terms of constructive discussion. If you are not going to initiate or participate in legitimate, constructive and civil discussion then please refrain from making threads.Locked.

user-26150870 posted a message on How to stop Netdecking forever. *Share*Posted in: General DiscussionThe IQ in this post is so low, it's in the negatives. Here's why:
Many archetypes are kinda spoonfed by development. Aside from 5-10 flex cards, you always have a core of 20 that is far superior than any other 20 cards you may want to play for that archetype. There are statistic websites that indicate the usefulness of each card in every scenario, so in time players end up with a very refined version of those archetypes, that have 25-27 core cards that cannot be replaced by something better.
If you suggest that you cannot play the most common cards, does that mean that just the first player who built the deck gets to play it and have an unfair advantage over the others? See how stupid that sounds? Or, if everyone is barred from using the most popular cards, they will just go to the following strongest cards in power level. Netdecking again, which you hate, but is not an actual problem.
I am still hoping this was a troll post, but if you think you have a groundbreaking plan to promote unique decks, I feel a bit sorry for you. Feel free to play your homebrews in casual though, eventually you will meet other bad decks or terrible players once your winrate gets squished by "netdeckers".

NLbouncyknight posted a message on How to stop Netdecking forever. *Share*Posted in: General Discussionfirst start with you claim that netdeckins is plagiarism read the deffinition : practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.
So playing with a deck other create is not plagiarism
it is when i play with and then claim its my deck
i agree that homebrewed decks where you winning with is feeling more as a accomplisment then netdecking
I always netdecking till rank 5 after that i gonna build decks and hafe fun
but do reconise its a competive game so most people playing it for winning
Also in all of the history of card games netdecking is a big part of it also games that not going on internet
As example i played pokemon/yugioh a lot offline and also there you see the same couple of decks this is how it works live with it or leave -

Strongpoint posted a message on How to stop Netdecking forever. *Share*Posted in: General DiscussionI am more and more convinced that hate toward "netdeckers" is coming mostly from lazy guys who want to spent 2 minutes on building a deck and have a +50% winrate against proper decks. After losing game after game they start to complain about unfair word and dream about the world where others will have their own two minute effort decks.

I'm of the belief that netdecking can be heavily discouraged by not having sites whose whole purpose is to track the statistics of certain decks or flaunt the win rate percentages. I was against this site having deck win rates plastered on the front page and luckily they removed it but this is still a place to find premade decks sadly but without the win rate at the front page, it looks a hell of a lot better (Doesn't matter since it's going to be shut down anyway)
People would still play with decks that their favourite streamer plays with or with the deck some pro used at a tournament but at least the casuals would be left to their own devićes, praying they are lazy enough not to google which premade decks are the best

Damn, I'm really going to miss this place. Arguing about new cards being good or bad has been fun for the last few years...

People will always try and find the most efficient way of doing something. No matter what incentives Blizz could implement to encourage people to make original decks there are always going to be some decks/cards that are stronger and better than others. People will then gravitate towards using those.

Those statues look like cheap, plastic crap.

These are only 8 of the 120 total cards. There's no need to start crying until we know what the other 112 cards are

Golden Monkey wasn't meme fodder, Elise Starseeker was used in lots of highlander decks as well as warlock and warrior control decks to replace weak cards in the end game.

No more odd/even crap, yay.

I wonder how many active players they have. I'm sure it's going to be a lot lower than 100 million.

Un'Goro doesn't rotate until the first expansion of next year.

Meh, rogue already uses Cobalt Scalebane and Fungalmancer to buff things. Plus with Vilespine Slayer their 5 mana card slot is pretty full.

Might as well just say "draw Bloodlust or Volcano from your deck".
