posted a message on Is there a deck that beats Quest Warlock in Wild?

    I So anyway, I have a story.

One time, there was this thread.  And 8 Hearthstone normies posted about this deck

    Quote from doingtheobvious >>

Consistently? No - it mostly just loses to its self. Pirate Rogue has a fighting chance cause it's has the most burst from hand options in this meta.

You have made a strong assertion and discredited yourself.

So .. um .. dogfacedude or whatever your name is ... I sentence you to 3 years of shame and during that period you will remain silent.

There is a hilarously obnoxius Mechathun Warrior that gains tons of armor, draws cards and kills with a cheap combo that summons a minion from hand for 5 mana.  That deck is only vulnerable to extremely fast decks like Shadow Priest.

    Quote from DatMageDoe >>

We already have a 3 mana 2/5 which does an even stronger version of this - Tight-Lipped Witness. And that card is dreadful, because it's one dimensional deadweight against all decks except Secret decks. The only secret techs which saw serious play destroyed them such as Eater of Secrets because that denies all Secret value, instead of delaying them to "Later."

He's talking about a minion that would ignore objection.

posted a message on Secret ignoring minion

So much draw and minion generation has been added to the game in the last year.

And secret mage was gutted with the nerf to the 1 drop from .. Gadgetzan (?), so the main issue would be quest mage which doesn't do what Secret Mage did which was threaten lethal after only a few turns.

Objection isn't what it used to be.

On Battlegrounds, there is a picture of Madame Groovybark in human form reading a book.

What is the theme or why is that the case?

How people who post whacked out shit never have a video or anything to back up their stuff?

Same cards X games in a row ... ok fine .. post in on YouTube and be believed.

But of course the "unreliable narrator" of the story, never has any evidence -- just claims.

posted a message on Battlegrounds Became Weird

It's not bad, I'm get getting used to it.

I'm glad to see Beasts totally reworked.  And I like that Leeroy Jenkins is back to offer hope against the 600/600 minion.

They radically changed the Battlegrounds minion set.

Seems like half of the minions "do something" and you have to read the text of every card to see what weird thing they do.

This seems like the largest change to Battlegrounds in a long time.

Maybe eventually I'll "like it" -- but right now, it just feels super weird.

    How does Shudderblock work?

Supposedly it cannot do face damage, is that really true?

I've not seen someone play it on stream ... can it hurt face indirectly?  Is the hero immune during the next battlecry?

I've seen that also.  But only once.  I thought I had won the game but the opponent was still there.  They didn't have a secret.  I had fought them a few round when  that happened, I just conceded and took 2nd place.

posted a message on Priest weak late game has to end

Playing Priest is a delicate matter.

How is your roping?  No enough?  Too much?

How is your emoting?  Are you saying "Wow!" enough?  Too much?

posted a message on Trolls in HS

I have trouble getting roped because I can't force myself to ...

.. play Wild, it's all OTK decks now

.. play Standard ... there are so many board removals that don't even kill the minions now whether Reno or various Titans or Objection or a Yogg Mind Control ... so Resurrect, Reborn and Deathrattle effects don't mean anything do they?  Do minions really matter?  Then there is Sif mage that is an OTK.

    And so many board clears.

Not really a board based game like it once was.

And so many destroy effects that minion health is irrelevant.

I guess they are keeping the game "fresh", but I watched a bit of BunnyHopper and he said something ...

"Last year, I might be able to beat someone with better topdecks by being a superior player.  This year, I don't skill overcoming topdecks."

    Wild: Bugged Cards To Exploit

Chaos Gazer - Curse a card, your opponent has 1 turn to play it.  However, it is bugged and the opponent discards it right away.

So Chaos Gazer is sort of like Mutanus, Chaos Gazer is 3 mana.

Chittering Tunneller - Discover a spell, take damage equal to its cost.  So if I were to discover Twisting Nether, it should do 8 damage to self.  But the card is not doing any damage at all.
