Just what paladin needed more ways to zerg face without a downside, When will Hearthstone staff learn reduced costs stuff should be 1 minimum otherwise it breaks the game.
So I understand Meteors are made out of rock but so is lava and typically they class those spells as fire. from a science p.o.v meteors reach 3000 degrees F where as lava is 1300-2200 degrees F. But game wise It makes me wonder if it was more a choice made because of the new spells mage will get access too and they already step on each others toes slightly by using elemental decks.
Meteor Storm seems a little odd being as a nature spell I would have guessed fire do have a weakspot for elemental shaman so should be fun playing this all the same though. Maybe the legendary won't make the cut into my deck as I do like the eruption elemental too.
I mean if rogue actually had a decent AOE and if its effect was to just deal double damage to minions and combo gave a buffed version of backstab maybe it would see play. But I doubt it when we have 1 mana 1-3 and 2 mana 2/3-4 cards its just such a terrible card design I wanna book a flight and find out the designer so I can slap some sense into them.
I wanna love Quasar but as others have said it will probably be too slow because of current meta. As for combo just looking at the other combo cards it will never be a viable deck that see's play in the remainder of 2024 way too slow and not impactful enough combo cards to even compete with other classes.
Wow a 0 mana backstab that can only target undamaged minions for 2-4 damage in 2024 when we have 1 mana 1-3 cards seems super useful. Said like 2 years back when we started to see 4 hp 2 mana cards backstab needs buffing now in 2024 they give us possibly the worse legendary card I've seen for a class since millhouse manastone neutral.
Doesn't really fit past versions of Rogue but I really like this card and can see it being a staple as its not the easy to remove and rogue has always had survival issues can't wait to test it.
Not as simple as your making out really there are a few ways to duplicate and bounce things within the current neutral set so I don't think its as big a Reno = GG in mirror match ups as you think.
To be honest I can't remember the last time I played a priest with a buff, deathrattle or effect monsters and they didn't have that 1 mana board silence so them getting access to this make zero difference in my mind.
Sure if they discover it then its a solid card but doubt they will run it when they have so many better cards and run such a tight decklist plus it will help Rogue out massively in shadow priest match ups vs that 4/3 deal 3 to face minion rogue struggles due to a lack of healing and mitigation and RNG based effects. Plus they was in dire need of combo support that was decent this and the 2 mana rush poison minion may just be enough to make combo rogue actually good.
Answer me this Abyssal Bassist wording is Equipped this game so does that work with Remornia, Living Blade and Sword Eater Because if these also count to apply the discount that is going to be bonkers.
I always get confused on them wordings played and summoned so figured I'd just ask you since you seem to be a fellow Taunt warrior fan.
Did Blizzard hire a new staff member or something its 2023 and we finally got an expansion mini-set that synergises with archtype builds, had to double check it wasn't an april fools prank.
Normally the mini sets are couple a decent neutral cards and a big bag or Meh for every class that does nothing to help anyone with building archtypes like Combo rogue, Deathrattle Hunter, Totem Shaman.

This just seems like a worse version of Pop'gar the Putrid I honestly don't know what hearthstone dev team were thinking with this trash card.
