Why would paladins have bandits?
Wouldn't they have a Justice posse or something?

LockAndLoad posted a message on New Paladin Legendary Card Revealed - Spirit of the BadlandsPosted in: NewsCrazy strong mechanic, but... I don't like the flavor. A spirit wolf for Paladin? Why? And the name doesn't sound like a Legendary card. Seems like they just slammed a name on some art and gave it to Paladin without thinking. Lazy.

TheArcanist236 posted a message on New Death Knight Epic Card Revealed - Distressed KvaldirPosted in: NewsCan they please stop printing those overly specific packages that you just have to run together? It makes deckbuilding linear, and if the package fails, suddenly the class has a useless expansion set (sth sth Murlocs in Warlock). Or the package succeeds and is ran in every deck for 2 years (something something Librams).

Ecthelion2 posted a message on Double Decker - Festival of Legends Multitype Wild DecksPosted in: NewsI've been having a lot of fun with Aluneth Secret Mage with the weapon tutor and Tony. Added Ignites+Ellek for infinite draw. Not exactly a dual archetype deck, but a fun rework on an old classic with some under-optimization in exchange for meme potential, a trade I am wont to make. Still somehow managed to make D5 thanks to playing against slower decks.
I've been countering Kingsbane Rogue in all decks with ETC tech (Steamcleaner + Kobold pirate), but I'd be curious to see if Starlight Groove and Divine Shields can also counter.
Looking forward to trying out Lightshow Mage as well!

I can see that some people would then complain about how time-consuming a task is to build a brawl deck just for a single pack. Not that you're wrong, but the other side is always unsatisfied.

I can smell a very strong r/customhearthstone odour on this card.
Besides making a couple of decent targets for spell buffs, this card seems to exist just because it can.

This is the kind of card that punishes you for being ahead on the board like Spreading Plague or Psychic Scream.
While I'm not the biggest fan of these tpye of cards, I'm glad Paladin got a removal that is good in itself and not a piece of a two card removal combo.

Can't wait for Mark to buff up a Saronite Tol'vir, Treachery it to the opponent, then MUDA MUDA the heck out of it until the opponent is nose deep in fatigue.

This is the type of Legendary that I will totally forget about during pack opening day, inevitably open it, then go "Huh, oh yeah, this guy".

I promised myself to only purchase bundles and items in the shop which doesn't contain any random element.
So no pre-orders, pack bundles, only mini-sets, skins or battle-passes.
My experience with the game is a lot more positive this way. You always imagine all the shiny golden legendaries you want to open and end up with regular Duskfallen Avianas instead. This way you get what you pay for.

I ain't no Standard player, so I have to ask: Has Secret Mage ever been good in Standard?
It feels like it always misses the mark in Standard and adds another layer of synergy to Wild. If this is the case, what's the point of pushing secrets into Standard where they don't even stick?
