    There's not going to be any huge shake ups or changes this month, apart from the usual regular Balance Updates. The next Big Thing™ on the horizon is Blizzcon, on November 6 and 7, where the next expansion will almost certainly be announced.

     

    Blizzcon 2023 is on November 3-4, not November 6-7

     DiscoLock is also getting hit too. But Gadgetzan Auctioneer has been around since Beta, it has more attention to make it front loading like how Sorcerer's Apprentice was front loaded last time, and the last hammer nerf did it for good that it never saw the light again.

     They need to fix the root-cause cards, or else, future new cards will create the same problems we have now. This is similar to what they did to the Mage minion 3/2 stats changing its cost to 4 mana with the effect to have all Spells cost 1 less.

    Warlock is strong but not that OP in Standard, check its WR in Twist and Wild.
    Warlock in Standards gets destroyed by OTK decks like Spells Mage and OTK Shaman.

    Wild is in a trash state until they nerf Discolock to the ground again, the same archetype keeps ruining an entire game mode again and again.. Can they just kill this archetype like already and stop pushing it in Standard or even in Twist. Let it RIP.

    It's the same with BG's. They won't nerf the REAL problem cards.

      Killing the Hound means nerfing Blood DK, which is already a bad deck in Tier 4..

    Unless Wild ever becomes dead like the previous Classic mode, they should still cater to Wild as it still attracts a good decent amount of players almost as well as Arena and Duels  (if not more)

    For those who anti Aggro decks in Wild, Reno Control Lock is pretty viable and should have 50-60% WR against Pirate Rogue, Even Shaman, Secret Mage, etc. and ofc you have to deal with Combo Decks like HP Druid and Shudderwock Shaman, but it's the fundamental Rock-Paper-Scissor in Hearthstone

    Wing Welding is a perfect card for EvenLock in Wild, it is their ultimate AoE board clear next to Defile, replacing Soul Rend and all their previous 4-cost AoE

    The class identity is still there. Yes, traditionally, Hunter is known to go face with Aggro minions, cheap cards, and such.. Large portion of players actually want to play the big-cost beasts and late game values instead. Hunter can only go late games by having board control from early to mid games. Historically pre-2020, it was very hard for the class to have any slower decks or any archetype different than Face Hunter... But we are in 2023, no classes stick to their own defined identity these days. 

    One thing I agree that Hunter should not have access to is healing and AoE. They can have board Rush control early and mid game with all their beasts, but they should not have access to cards such as Star Power or Hollow Hounds (Rush is fine but not Lifesteal)

    I dont recall Warlock receives good big useful (not annoying) Demons for Control decks any more since the launch of Demon Hunter. They forced Big Demon Hunter so they gave all the big Demons to them instead.
