Midrange Hunter heavily depends on getting the board early on. Most of the Midrange Hunter decks run Kindly Grandmother and Rat Pack. Use your potion of madness in order to steal the early board. It will win you the game 70% of the times.
After alot of testing with this deck I can only say that Curious Glimmerroot instead of Gluttonous Ooze, Elise the Trailblazer instead of Lyra the Sunshard or even you don't need Lyra at all works really nice in the deck as well. Lyra is over-rated as a win condition and it's a matter of RNG. As long as you keep control of the board you will win the game. It is a control deck after all. Lyra just might speed up the proccess or might leave you hanging causing you to lose the game.
I only listed what you can do that will get you a guaranteed good start, you have endless possibilities on what you can do. Out of 4-5 1 drops and another 4 2 drops you are pretty much guaranteed every single game that you will have something to play to get early board. Even if your opponent does waste a turn to clear something and doesn't throw a taunt, it's still a win situation for you because you are doing more damage to face. As long as you can control board and pull a Deadly Shot/Kill Command/Adapt to clear one of the annoying taunts, you can win the game. To be honest I have won more games against Taunt Warriors than Pirate Warriors with this deck just because of the fact that you can get alot of early board pressure except that Pirate Warriors can get that as well
Dinomancy too slow. Stampede has potential but it's not even worth adding since it's more for the late game, while this deck aims to close the game before turn 6-7
And for Swamp King Dred, you could replace a Tundra Rhino for it, but as I said , you are aiming to close the game before turn 6 or 7. No need for it
http://imgur.com/a/bCutb This is when I hit Rank 5 like 2 weeks ago with this deck , if it helps motivate other people :P And I am a relatively newbie player as well.
This decks needs board pressure early on. Mulligan for a 1 drop, keep Kindly Grandmother always and keep Crackling Razormaw if you have a 1 drop.
It's really easy to defeat Quest Rogues with this deck. You just keep playing curve and hit face most of times. By the time they complete the quest, you will already have lethal with your hero power.
For against Quest Warriors, try to get a Crackling Razormaw poisonous , or get a nice Hyena early on. It basically needs to be SMOrc all the time except when they throw a taunt, use your Deadly Shots or Kill Commands even to clear and hit face even more. Hope he won't be able to stabilize and make sure you have a nice board presence at all times because if you lose it, it's gonna be really hard getting it back.
I don't quite agree with "Forget your Quest" part. Keep the quest in your starting hand. It's the only thing you can play at 1st turn anyway. But other is pretty much yeah

What you think about replacing Tol'Vir with Deadly Shot and the 2x Hatchlings with nesting rocs

Forgot to mention how easy it is for Aggro decks to clear Lyra. Just one Kill Command or so.

There isn't one. You must unlock the last wing of Karazhan in order for this deck to be viable.
