Ive had random card back as my default choice for a good year and never seen that.
Wonder if it's a bug, but very cool!
Something about FF9 just clicked at the time it came out. I was a teenager and just absolutely loved it. Spent 200hrs on my first playthrough so I could 100% it.
Another game I loved from way back when was Dungeon Keeper on PC. Just something about it was awesome and I wish there was a remastered version.
It's already cracking in Wild, and I see it quite a lot in Duels.
In standard, I still think it might not be top of the meta as it just can't be as fast as in Wild to complete the quest, but it will definitely be playable and at least semi decent. Who knows it might even be better than that! Well worth a craft in my view.
You play your entire hand of minions on the board, play illucia and give your opponent an empty hand and 1 draw from your deck, (which will be a cheap minion) to deal with it. This basically gives the priest a free turn of board development and damage.
Any explanation as to your thoughts when designing these cards?
Would be good to know before people comment on them.
It's probably easiest to do this in duels with priest and I got the achievement first run with the deck (not first game and definitely not equipping the weapon every game).
Search duels boar priest and you will find the decklist. It does have some older cards in it so warning if your collection isn't the biggest.
On the last reward track, the golden epic was primordial protector.
This did see play in clown druid. I don't recall any outcry at the time (but maybe I missed it).
Have you clicked the achievement in the relevant tab?
I sort of agree. Alternative skins were rare, and they were a big deal.
Now every class has at least 6-7 portraits so its nothing unusual to see a variety.
What I would say though is that as long as the 1000 win portraits are never purchasable, they will always represent a significant grind to have achieved. Whether that is worth much is down to the player I guess. I have a 1000 win portrait for Paladin but don't really use it.
I hope shadow priest gets a bit more popular and turns out to be strong in the meta, just so I caj get more ranked wins with the class (my lowest currently).
I'm barely seeing any mages now at about rank 2k legend, but plenty of buff palas and face hunters.
The meta is regulating itself, and once those decks take over then it will shift hopefully to more tanky control decks to outlast the face rush.
Thanks for making this happen, I will be interested to see who wins.
I hope Mutanus is in the list and goes deep into the tournament!
