mahonisaya posted a message on MaexxnaPosted in: MaexxnaYou just gotta imagine what is happenning while your fighting this thing in adventure mode.
You walk into the necropolis of Naxxramas, armed with your tier 16 gear and waltz through the trash mobs. the first two bosses are quickly dispatched and you continue forwards into the lair of Maexxna. The beast skitters down the wall in front of you and rears onto its back legs hissing venom in your face but you are undaunted. Slowly you reach into your bag, preparing for the long fight ahead. You never take your eyes off the beast as you find what you were looking for. "Prepare to be destroyed!" you shout at the monster. In a flash your right in front of it, prepared for battle... and you slam the board down onto the webs with a thump! Maexxna pulls her deck out the webbing behind you and settles in, it's going to be a long night.

user-4036333 posted a message on Ancestral SpiritPosted in: Ancestral SpiritNo, because then the returning minion would have that deathrattle (at least that's how I think it would work)
Also, it doesn't say "Deathrattle" on the card. -

I've seen similar suggestions made for similar forums for similar games. The way it usually comes down - and you understand I'm not discounting the OP, just saying how I've seen similar situations resolve - is that players put their data into the database, but then they don't update that database. Then the database becomes completely out of sync with the player's actual collection. Then the database becomes useless as players just go straight into the game to work with their real assets, which after some experience they now are able to use effectively. So end story, a lot of work gets done to get a database &c set up, but nothing useful gets accomplished. A few players *do* actually update, because their situation maybe means they can get on internet but not Hearthstone at work &c - but generally for the reasons just stated individual databases aren't set up in the first place.
It may not seem like such a big deal now, but if you play for a couple months and see how your collection changes (what with disenchants and adding new cards), and think about expansions &c, you can see how it might be a pain to maintain and update a database separately from a real collection.

Gabbelgak posted a message on Why do Hearthstone players think that Infinity Wars is bad?Posted in: Other Games1. Interface
I can't stress how important this aspect is to me. I grew up a fan of Magic and transitioned into MTGO later in life when I no longer lived around friends who played physical. They released a new client v3.0 that was a drastic interface change - I went from a person who would spend 100$'s a month at times to selling my entire collection and quitting for absolutely no other reason than I could not stand the new interface.
IW doesn't have a terrible interface but I'm not really in love with it either - I like the animation on the cards but that is basically it. I'm a kickstarter backer for Hex as well and from what little I played with the Alpha I can say that if they don't clean up the interface I don't see myself playing it a heck of a lot.

You can also just ya know... Not spend money. Reroll quests each day to at least a 60. Play arena, don't buy packs. This game is free. If you want fair, then Arena is equal playing ground every game and it gives you cards and gold back.
