That's not powerful enough to justify using it against secret decks, and therefore any decks.
There's only going to be more and more secret cards as the game progresses. There needs to be a significant check to their power or else they'll grow out of control if they haven't already.
Right now, only one class has a check against secrets' power - and it's a user of Secrets. They will have to do something about this. I think a Harrison Jones of Secrets is inevitable.
As more secrets are added, THEN they can think of adding checks to deal with them. Right now we only JUST now started seeing them in any real use. Before naxx, even hunters had abandoned their secrets in their midrange decks. Right now we only have hunters who use them and that's only because of mad scientist: hunter's real power isn't from their secret use. Mage secrets exists but isn't really considered highly viable, just annoying to deal with.
Flare isn't a 'check' against secret power: it's a flat out eliminator. Flare alone shows that the second an 'ooze' like counter to secrets exists it'll eliminate the entire mechanic. And we're just trying to offer back and forth play against them right, not just completely eliminating the concept from the match. Riiight?
To put it another way, a Secrets Harrison Jones can exist once Secrets start working against you the turn they are played. A BGH for Secrets can exist once secrets start doing over 20% of your health each turn. I'd rather take a Loatheb minion for secrets.
Or a battlecry that bounces secrets back into your hand.
I hadn't thought of the value of recombobulator on higher cost cards... If they get damaged a bit, swap them out. OR attack twice if you pull a charger
People hate aggro decks. Especially newer players hate aggro decks. If you lose on turn 6-7 before getting to play your "cool" combo or beefy legendary you end up feeling bad because you lost and you didnt get to do the cool thing you wanted to do. The only way to end the constant whining would be to eliminate the possibility to play aggro and force everyone to play control.
I'd rather let people whine than kill the game trying to please them.
I disagree. People hate EVERY deck they're losing against. If it's aggro, they complain it's "just mindless spam", if it's control, they complain "Legendaries are OP, p2w!".
To be fair, every other persons deck is OP. I mean. I'm the best so it can't be me. So I either don't have the cards or you are cheap.
Jokes aside, I really can't play control because I get Legend-stomped. So Control isn't really an option for me. Barring a sub-par Druid.
A solid rush deck would plow through this if he's lucky. Hunter or Warlock particularly. Otherwise if you survive the beginning, which is very possible since your early isn't terrible, you'll be set.
So all you need to have in your hand is 3 mechs, the head, and a taunt or two that you can't lose. And something to boost Voltron after or deal damage enough before for him to finish you.
That's really nice of your opponent to let you do all of that.
I hadn't noticed the Harvest Golem change. That helps. Still, Managing to keep 3 mechs plus a 5 cost minion on the board at the beginning of your turn is no easy feet. You have to have a huge advantage to manage that.
Those two cards alone do a number on 75% of mechs you'd want to sacrifice to form Voltron. And an decent minion or a fireball can kill the head. I can't see this card working well as the cards stand.
Voltron really doesn't seem very powerful for what it costs. It's no Thadius. This one depends. Little minions on their own don't benefit THAT much from those effects. And getting several out then finding space for this guy is not easy for most decks. Maybe Shaman bloodlust or Paladin rush will come back.
I still like Hunter. Especially since nobody seems to be prepared for the UTH Hyena Timber/Dire wolf combo. My hunter deck needs no legendaries. I can't play many decks that slug it out because I get Legend-stomped. It's pretty much Hunter or Warlock for me.
He has low attack... Belcher alone almost wipes him. This is a huge risk that is very easily countered. I think we'll have to see all the mech cards before deciding this value. The up side is that when it comes up you have your full turns mana to clear his way or charge him up.

That's just rewording the original statement. Where have they said this? It very well could be true, but the wording doesn't say that.

FINALLY! THEY MAY BE RELEVANT!

Why does it need to be collectbile for Recombobulator?

It attacks the wrong enemy. Sounds broken to me.

Would work well with Paladin too. Most any 1 cost minion is better than the recruit.
