I just submitted a ticket with Blizz. Hope they take action towards this.

I really just laughed it off, but when thinking about it, this could have happened to a child...

Weirdest thing about it is; I didn't even BM... He conceded before match was over.
And in Arena you HAVE to expect some serious hard counters to your deck as the build process is so random.

Anyways, thanks for your input :)
And may the topdecks be ever in your favor <3

Not to be "that guy," but Blizzard isn't going to do anything because you deliberately added him as a friend when you didn't have to. If they tell you anything, it'll be to be more mindful in who you decide to accept friend requests from.

Are warlocks too popular in the current meta? I'm thinking about switching to a warlock since they seems to be so insanely strong.

They have one of the best face decks in the game behind hunter.
They have one of the best midrange decks.
They have one of the best control decks.

Along with a few variations of each. What blows my mind is that all three of these decks are completely viable to reach legend. I really don't see any downsides to warlock; no matter which way the meta shifts, they have a deck that can compete for being the best deck in the meta. I don't think any other class in the game make this claim? Is this why it seems like everyone is switching to warlock, because they are a jack of all trades master of all trades?

posted a message on A Comprehensive List of Everything I'd like to see done in Hearthstone

Personally, I think they should do away with the emote system entirely. I mean, they didn't add chat in the first place because they knew the insults and toxicity would be extreme. Emote system is no different. Whenever I forget to turn off emotes at the start of the game, I'm always reminded by someone using the emotes to be a complete and total jerk for absolutely no reason; spamming "Hello" repeatedly while they sit on lethal and refuse to act until the rope starts to burn and crap like that. If not removing it, then at least give us an option to have it permanently turned off.

I'd like them to add deck tracking and stuff, but this will never happen because they don't want the majority of players being able to see that they're only winning 1 game in 5.

Not sure what are you trying to make out of this. Yes, false advertising exist. So?

is this your first day on earth?

Is there a reason you're being an asshole without being provoked? I assumed it would be implied as a question as to why Hearthpwn operators allow such misleading advertisements on their site.

You can't have a 98% win rate with 6 games played.

Anyone else notice how so many decks on Hearthpwn claim to have some amazing win rate and then they show a screenshot showing a sample size of like 6 games?

I understand that these people need a way to advertise their streams, but isn't this a bit misleading?

You can call Zoo decks a turkey sandwich if you really want, but everyone else probably won't take you very seriously. Sort of like what might happen if you call Zoo a "face deck".

A face deck is one that always attacks face instead of trading. Zoo seeks to make favorable trades to maintain board control, and then hit face after clearing. Big difference.

Tell Blizzard to release official deck names then for players who don't spend 100% of their lives trying to stay on the bleeding edge of Hearthstone lingo. Honestly, you guys are way, way too butthurt over whatever a deck is called than you should be.

I see plenty of people on Hearthstone official forums calling every type of warlock deck "zoo." You guys should head over there and show them that this is NOT ok.

How is casually explaining the difference and naming of deck archetypes in any way a resemblance of butthurt? They are trying to inform you of WHY a deck is a certain type and named that way, and YOU are the one getting defensive and salty over it.

Log off here and go read a book.

I honestly couldn't care less, but when I'm called a "moronic man-child" over what is or isn't considered a "zoo" deck, I'd say people are pretty butthurt.

Pretty much any time I run up against a Face Hunter or Face Lock (I guess these are called zoo for some reason?) I will perpetuate the hate until the game is over. Everytime I smack you in the face, you're getting a "Greetings." Everytime I thoughtsteal your cards, you're getting a "Thank you."

Don't know why, but these decks just bring out the absolute worst in me. Which decks bring out the hate in you?

Its not called Face Lock. Its called Zoo. And thats not the play style of it. Zoo is actually a board control deck designed to trade minions by buffing its smaller creatures with things like Argus and Abusive Sergeant. In addition, it keeps tempo by using warlock's hero ability to draw extra cards. Zoo can also have big cards like Sea Giant, and small cards- literally like a zoo. Now, there are slower versions of zoo such as ones that run Belchers and Sea Giants. Or faster ones that end the mana curve at around 5 with Doomguards. The trick with playing against zoo is to work out which speed you are playing against. In addition, try and have AOE clear in hand in case you lose board control.

    Hope this helps!

Whoever coins these names isn't the brightest crayon in the box. I didn't really ask for the history of "zoo" lock or whatever, but thanks, I guess.

The problem is, "facelock" or "aggrolock" is a completely different deck that also has been viable some time ago (it isn't really anymore though). Additionally, if Zoo always bashes your face, either he is playing it wrong and/or your deck is by far too greedy, since Zoo mainly aims at board control and runs relatively little finishers. So, calling Zoolock "Facelock" is simply wrong, since there already is a Facelock, and misleading, since Zoo isn't about hitting face. So, to conclude:

"Whoever doesn't understand these names isn't the brightest crayon in the box."

To the main topic, I don't really dislike any specific class. It mostly depends on the deck I'm playing right now; Classic Midrange Shaman against Control Priest is just infuriating for example, as is Oil Rogue against Control Warrior. I just hate playing matchups that are heavily weighted in the opponents favor no matter how good I play. That's why I mostly prefer decks that are consistent across nearly all matchups.

So much for intending to form the uneducated, moronic opinion of some narrow-minded man-child who sees a deck run multiple 1-2-3drops and immediately goes "HURR DURR I HATE FACE DECKS"

The only warlock deck that's actually pretty close to being a "face deck" is murloc warlock, but really, I even apologize in ForecastWeatherMan's name for trying to bring some sense into this hate circlejerk... Won't happen again, I'm sure.

If they have me down to 5hp by turn 4, they are a face deck. Additionally, until Blizzard releases official names for deck arch types, I can really call them whatever I want, can't I? Also, by definitions in this thread, saying zoo lock is this highly, highly, highly specific deck and then saying that it's called Zoo because it can contain so much variety in both cards, construction, and play is an oxy moron.

Faceless Manipulator or Recombobulator are the "simple" ways to do it ;)

How about other than those three cards? I know it wasn't Sylvannas or Recombob because I would have remembered destroying them. Might have been Faceless, though.

I wasn't paying attention, so I'm not sure how it happened. I had nothing on the board, so it wasn't Mind Control Tech.

I'm sure I'm just missing something obvious, but how is this possible for a paladin?

If you want to do any ranked play, both BMR and Naxx are absolutely mandatory as you will have zero chance at reaching legend without cards from both sets.

Anyone else ready for this thing to get nerfed into the ground?

I think this is just another I hate face hunters thread and this comment could easily be made in the super mega salty thread.... Everybody finds it frustrating running into face hunters constantly.... I personally am finding it just as frustrating that most of the new threads on this site are "Nerf Dr. Boom" or "I hate Face Hunters".... or any slight variance on these titles

No, I do not. I think these Hunter-moan threads ruin the forum though.

If you guys see the OP as a whine, it's probably time you take a break from the forums. Hard to foster any discussion at all when so many are so jaded that they see every post as a whine.
