Add emporer Thaurissan, in your heart you know every deck starts with him ;) It rocks with shudderwock when you completed the quest and is generally a great play during mid-late game.
Not sure it counts, but I remember a game where my opponent cast dead mans hand while holding Keleseth and then casting aformented Keleseth. I bet my oppenonet could also hear the imaginary crickets chirp.
Guess it's a bit better then forbidden flame, bacause it's in priest. Biggest downside of these cards was always timing, you couldn't play them when you wanted. Also 5 mana to kill magma rager :')
Best thing you can craft atm is (golden) copies of the cards moving to the hall of fame, so you have some extra dust come rotation, in the meantime you might as wel use and enjoy playing them ;)
I imagine Blizzard employs a bunch of them in different ecosystem's with differing vectors.
And actually bots learning from human players is for now the best way to train an AI. So I find nothing wrong with it, eventually we are going to lose against "bots"" written by us, why not try to speed up the process?
Shaman isnt very good atm because its a midrange value deck. You get stomped by OTK and deathknights like Jaina. On the bright side almost all OTK decks will be unplayable after rotation and all those deathknights Shaman aint playin move "out of my jungle" as well.
Bottom line: Shaman is uniquely positioned to take the (funnel) cake after rotation since its not losing much and anything it does is easily replaced.
I totally agree with OP, some basic cards have not felt the blissfull bash of the banhammer and should thus be relegated to the HOF or be nerfed. Fireball should probably cost 10, Blizzard can then rid us of the scourge of pyroblast so I can claim my 400 dust come april!
Come to think of it; I shall open a thread soon with constructive criticism about the terrible injustice of the perpetual unnerfed status of crocolisk. Its mere existence severely cuts any design space left for new sets.

Odd Rogue plays more like a burn deck, get some damage in, then quickly try to set up for a "big" finish, with charge, pump and direct damage tools.
