posted a message on New Druid Card - Jade Behemoth

If this really is a common, thats awesome cause that means each class will be getting 4 common cards, which means ten total class cards (TGT and WOTOG gave 9 class cards). This means one more paladin card yet to see (woohoo), and also means they have freedom to print more powerful stuff, and less of those filler cards that people seem to dislike so much.

Also, the card seems good, and has good art, so good all around!

I may have just been converted the Jade Lotus. This Jade Golem mechanic is really intriguing. This is looking like the best expansion yet.

    Meanwhile Grimestreet Outfitter gets released.
This becomes a 3/5 on turn 3 hey not that bad. Buffed random card in hand?
Would be a pity to face a 8/6 Divine shield Fjola Lightbane on turn 4 right?
Lost tempo and board got flooded. Here a Second-Hand Bruiser 6/7 for 3 mana to fix it.
Oh wait a second, don't have it. but maybe 5/7 Sen'jin Shieldmasta can be cool as well.

And Tri-Class Goons legendary yet has to be released.
And Wickerflame Burnbristle starts making quite sense.
Patience really doesn't suit HS Community.

So true... man i love this expansion so far
     Me too!:D So friggen excited!

Good card comes out and as usual, people are salty for. . . reasons. Smh. Its also exciting to me, but thats much more subjective.

As long as you play the minion that got buffed, its a 3 man 3/5. C'mon people.

Best cards to get are mukla or injured blademaster (which would be batshit f'in nuts).

Worst you can get is like magma rager or alarmo-bot? or a 2/2.? I guess if you board is filled with 1/1s dreadscale would suck?

Basically there isn't really a "loser" outcome with this card. Its not like shredder where sometimes you get captains parrot or doomsayer. Card is so dang strong. Would be busted if its nuetral, but mage only so all is goood. :) really cool, really powerful card.

Worst card is Coliseum Manager when you reeeeally need to ping that 8/1.
Ha that would be hilarious. Though it would also probably be a misplay in most cases cause you could just ping first.

posted a message on Best LOE legendary?

Its sort of hard to say which one is better between Brann Bronzebeard and Reno Jackson.

One way of looking at it is that Brann sees play in more decks. Brann zoo, dragon decks, and most if not all viable Reno decks. He is actually a card that wins you the game in certain matchups as well, think about Brann healbot to seal out the game. I also think he will be getting much better in the future, because dragon decks will be a lot stronger in standard, and other possible good battlecries will exist to exploit him.

Reno shifted the meta when he came out. He is the cornerstone card of one viable constructed deck, Renolock. Reno mage is getting there, but isn't close to renolock. There really aren't any other reno decks that are that good. Reno decks also may be getting a lot weaker, with card quality going down, and good 1 of minions like shredder, belcher, healbot, etc going away. Reno decks may not care too much about this, but one thing that makes them viable right now I would argue is that you can still have 30 good cards in your deck. If you gotta start scraping the bottom of the barrel to fill your 30 slots, expect Reno to fade away.

With all that being said, I think its easy to say that reno jackson is the best because he is the best card in a very good deck that wouldn't exist without him, but I think brann is the best because he is a good card in many decks, is 3 mana cheaper (meaning he is more likely to see play in more games), and is also one of the best cards in reno decks.

Elise is a matchup card. Only making a monstrous difference in control v control matchups, and being a fine 4 mana 3/5 against faster decks.

Sir Finley is too unreliable to be the cornerstone of a strategy, but is still good in aggro decks that aren't hunter or warlock.

Yea thats a good point started thinking about the synergy with minions like hogger and floting watcher after my comment. I hope its used for that reason and not as a general good board control tool. Not as upset about it now. :D

well you can't really have a 3 mana Deal 9 damage card without a lot of RNG being involved. it would be broken as hell otherwise

I agree, kind of. But you could have a 3 mana deal 9 damage with a significant drawback that isn't rng, or at least this kind of rng.  I guess my problem with this card is that it could be great with no drawback or not a significant one, or it could go completely wrong and hurt you more than it helps you, and since you payed 3 mana to only cause this effect, at such an early point in the game, you can just lose the game right there.
This is less controlled than the bomber cards because with them, even if their battlecry hurts you more than the opponent, you at least get the minion, which will always help you, so the gamble is worth it (kind of) in that sense. This card looks too random to be healthy for the game. I really hope I'm wrong. Does anyone see this as being a healthy kind of rng?

Most of people agree with you, the problem is that Blizzard doesnt care about the community at all and they will be on that way sadly (dont care about Boom, Mysterious Challeger conplains, RNG). Its a shame.
I think blizzard has listened to our concerns, and judging by most of this set they are learning. There are a lot of well designed cards, and it looks like hearthstone is heading into the right direction in my opinion. Cards like this existing are fine, there are a lot of players who like wild rng, but those players ( I think) don't play competitively. I see a happy medium where people can have their fun cards and competitors can have their healthy cards. I just foresee this being a step in the wrong direction.

This looks like the new implosion. I hope I'm wrong and this card either sucks too much to see play, or I'm missing something and its not as random as it looks, because people will be raging till this one rotates out.

Got no problem with bad rng cards, as long as they aren't good cards so they dont gotta start deciding games for people who wanna take this game ever so slightly seriously. I've liked this set so far and still do, but this card reminds me of gvg. Please don't print many more like this blizzard.

posted a message on Your favorite Old God

Y'shaarj seems the worst, but hes the best one in arena by far and I think he could see some play in druid. I've always been appealed to cards that look terrible but aren't actually bad. I really like that hes a 10/10 for some reason, so linear, hasn't been printed yet. Not saying he's great but I dont think hes as bad as people are saying.

If I had to pick one I'd pick Y'shaarj, but I honestly like them all pretty equally except Yogg. Even if you can work his rng in your favor, still is the bad kind of rng that this game doesn't need more of (in competitive play). I'd be really sad if yogg was good and saw play at high levels, don't think he will though.

my actual favorite is that naga thing from the tavern brawl with rafaam and KT.

"My favorite naga bowl team, is oats and goats."

No idea what that even means, but i couldnt get enough of it.

posted a message on New Hunter Card - Call of the Wild

Kind of similair to mysterious challenger in that its one big card that puts out a ton of value, but the opponent will be able to set himself up to deal with it. This card will be best as the top of the curve in midrange hunter.

One of my favorite if not my favorite card in the set, just cause I love the animal companion theme and cards.  Gives midrange hunter some value and reach.

Edit: Also is it confirmed that it will summon 1 of each animal companion? I only ask because the wording supposedly isn't confirmed yet. I hope it summons 1 of each and I would assume it would and not 3 random ones, but just making sure.
