...no? Zeddy confirmed nothing btw, Alec Dawson announced it on twitter on the 8th, saying that nerfs would be dropping on the 15th for two priest cards and one druid card. I don't really see a reason to have to know which cards are nerfed beforehand tbh, whatever nerfs they will be, they probably won't shake up the meta or the decks they're in in an incredibly unpredictable way.

Like, seriously, let's say they nerf apotheosis (which is basically 99% certain), renew and gibberling; what would you change in your control priest and gibberling druid decks?

Most new mechanics are for combo decks, this one is no exception.

     Uuhhh...

Adapt: key to 0 combo decks

    Discover: as above

    Inspire: as above

    Frenzy: as above

    Spellstones: as above

    Spellburst: as above

Echo: used by one "combo" deck and nerfed afterwards

Literally all the above mechanics have been used far more often by midrange and control decks than by combo decks. Would you mind starting to name all these "mechanics" (whatever that means, be less vague next time please) that are somehow exclusive to combo decks?

    -

As for OP, as a mechanic I quite like it although just one card seems playable, curious to see what else they'll come up with.

Deep thanks to my last bost who conceded when I played mozaki and an apprentice because I really had no idea how I was going to get out of that pickle with one mana left and one card draw in hand.

Like mostly everyone else, just saving it for the next expansion. Currently on 18k (bought the miniset with gold but didn't bother with heroes/cardbacks), a good chunk of which I'll drop on packs and then...back to hoarding again.

game is better then ever. Just play wild joy not the standard rip off

But if everyone did that, the player base would have no one to talk down to for playing modes other than wild; and at the end of the day, is there really any other point of playing wild other than to let everyone know you play wild?

Listening to standard peeps whine to death about the current incarnation of control priest is rather satisfying, ngl.

3 times in the last while I’ve run into a warrior who doesn’t play any cards. He or she uses their hero power at the start of their turn then sit there until they time out. Their hero power button flashes on and off all the while. I take my turn thinking this is some kind of trap but then they repeat the same thing over again. Armor up then time out while their hero power button flashes. This continues until I defeat them. What is this? A malfunctioning bot?.

Nothing malfunctioning about it, it's a bot that is there just to gain xp by pressing the hero power every turn and waisting as much time as possible.

posted a message on Odd Paladin Tips?

As Sevasmios mentioned, pwar and murloc shaman can be tough matchups because they can both snowball out of control quicker than odd pally can react (and for pwar, having cannons out is a real pain in the rear) but yeah, no idea how you lose consistently to odd shaman as, like decks such as odd rogue and kingsbane, it relies very little on board presence and very much on direct face damage...you should be able to simply kill everything they have quickly enough and kill them with your board soon after that. There will be times when the odd dh will have an absolutely nuts draw and you get your baku leeroy and quartermaster in the opening hand but overall that matchup is strongly in odd pala's favour, just mulligan correctly and the rest is up to luck, really.

Why are people who don’t believe in big scary conspiracy theories so hostile towards those who do? Funny how these theories always end up being true! The people who believe in them will just say those who don’t believe are just ********. But those anti conspiracists it’s like it eats at there soul they HAVE to be right. You HAVE to think just like them! Lol why? Why are you people literally npcs? Who cares who complains about the rng? Everyone admits and knows it is being manipulated the question always seems to be how much? Let the man think what he wants. Who cares. Stop starting shit because they don’t fall in line with your thinking. I can just imagine how you people are in real life prob pretty sad.

For the same reason why people are hostile to flat earthers, seeing that much stupidity is pretty triggering.

Yeah, let's kill priest with that ridiculous 47% winrate because that's just too high.

I've heard dumb arguments but this is still pretty up there. Where on earth did you get that laughable 47% wr? No, let me guess (as if it were difficult, there's only one option), the pointless winrates on the front page of hsreplay...got it, eh?

https://www.vicioussyndicate.com/vs-data-reaper-report-200/ here you go. Priest is a tier 3-ish deck at lower levels and spikes up at top 1k legend as the third best deck in the game. Uh. That, by the way, is what useful statistics look like, not a pointless and entirely meaningless 47% on class winrates, which is about as useful as the free stats hsreplay hands out.

I'd also like to point out this tweet https://twitter.com/FledHS/status/1408199626935652354 which was made by a current hearthstone gm and was liked by Iksar himself (which I believe is more of a "we hear you" than anything else but I'm not the man so it's just speculation on my part), which says an awful lot when paired with the data collected by VS which shows that priest wr% goes up by an entire 1% (which is massive, to put it mildly) because of the absurdly high number of turn one concedes, something they've never recorded in any previous report.

And I honestly don't care a lick about priests in standard (or wild, for that matter) but I see this argument thrown time and time again and it's one of the most asinine possible so please, find yourself a better one (and there are, I've read a few myself) and drop this idiotic one.

    -

Now, as for OP...nope, I don't think any of those nerfs are needed...or any good, really. I wouldn't be surprised to see a smaller round of nerfs coming up at the end of the month or beginning of July but then again, I also wouldn't be surprised if nothing happened. Fairly curious to see if team 5 will actually do something about priest because it seems pretty clear that they will have to at some point, the only thing left to puzzle is when.

posted a message on Why hasn't Tickatus been changed?

I always hear this "quest rogue was just tier 3 why isn't tickatus addressed" stuff so I decided to go and check for myself. Found the vs reports for the un'goro meta and since its inception, quest rogue was basically mid to high tier 2 at legend. Uh. Look at that, maybe they didn't change quest rogue just because muh feefees but also because it was...good

Since quest rogue was nerfed twice (I'm not having you keep your stupid hyperbole if you want to be taken seriously) I also went to check the vs reports for the witchwood before quest rogue was nerfed...and my oh my, it was tier 2 and even tier 1 some weeks, especially popular in legend whenever there were many people playing control decks.

That's interesting. So, apparently, quest rogue wasn't just nerfed because a sufficient number of people whined about it but also because it was an actually good deck. Fascinating. There's also the added issue for quest rogue that it was absurdly popular in tournaments, from what I could find, but I think that's a minor issue (otherwise, otk dh would have been nerfed ages ago, considering how many gms whine about it week in and week out).

Now, this should clearly explain why they haven't nerfed the big bad tickatus, eh? If you don't understand the difference between a tier 2 to tier 1 deck and a deck that's never got out of the bottom of tier 4 well, maybe you should go play clash of clans and not hearthstone, to be honest.
