Sillyraptor posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 7.19 - Submission TopicPosted in: Fan CreationsGoing completely against the grain with these cards, not something I initially thought of but they came into my mind and I HAD to make em. Hopefully they're as liked as I like them.
EDIT: Fixed Odyn, All-Father so he had the same set-mark as Helya

jeepers1704 posted a message on Card Nerfs and Corresponding DecksPosted in: General DiscussionQuote from Alexincoming >>Blizzard merely prints cards. They don't decide the meta. They don't know the players are going to be playing.
I hate to be cynical, but nobody deserves a full dust refund for the entirety of their deck when it gets killed off due to a single card nerf. Giving it to you straight, you were just playing into a cancerous meta and spending dust crafting a cancerous deck. Blizzard doesn't care if you used to have a full golden patron warrior deck, or if you spent a couple of thousand dust crafting 2 copies of each of the soon to be useless giants.
The first point in my quote is simply not true. Blizzard absolutely does playtesting before releasing expansions. It's not like they missed the synergy between Possessed Lackey and Dark Pact, they delivered a deck lock stock and barrel after Warlock was in the dumpster for a long time. It's not like they didn't think Call to Arms or Spiteful Summoner wouldn't be strong either, that's why they're epics. On the second point, fuck you buddy. People craft cards because they want to win. Just because you don't enjoy playing against it doesn't mean the players who spend real money or F2P dust should suffer. Every meta deck is called cancerous by the scrubs on hearthpwn so picking a deck because it's "fair" or "fun" is a pointless exercise. If you want to play bad cards that's on you, not me. Fortunately Blizzard does care about the customers who craft cards and doesn't listen to dipshits like you. They don't have the luxury of being an aggrieved forum poster, they have to balance meta diversity/power level with consumer confidence that your dust investment is safe. -

AntonAmby posted a message on Let's just be honest about what you're really wanting from the nerfsPosted in: General DiscussionThe real problem isn't actually diversity or balance, the problem is that we spent 4 months playing against Cubelock and Midrange/Aggro Paladins and after a rotation that deletes like half the fcking cards from standard we're still doing the exact same thing. :P

One_Man_Army posted a message on Hearthstone Card Balance Changes to Come After the HCT PlayoffsPosted in: NewsWhy would literally millions of players have to wait for another month for changes (that are crucial, the game is in an awful shape) to come because of few ‘pro players’ ? Huh, pro players in RNG based game.. If they are so ‘pro’ how come they wouldn’t be able to adapt to few changes in the next few days? They would have plenty of time to adapt if the tournament is somewhere in the second half of May, especially considering they are ‘pro’.

Honestly I agree, but I have felt this way in the past, but typically I get used to the art once the set comes out. Often like the art way more once I play with the cards.

I've also found that druid is now awesome against aggro with Oaken Summons & Ironwood Golem combo. The main issue is dealing with control lock, unfortunately.

It's also a ton of fun to play. Hands down my favorite card in Un'Goro

No, because of the downside of having Malchezaar in your deck. For every time the extra five cards win you the game in fatigue there will be at least two other times when some terrible legendary that you didn't put in your deck pops up and causes you to lose the game because you needed a board clear or a removal spell.
