This card is sneaky good. While other DKs have huge, flashy effects, Druid gets the most consistent one. This is the first DK that is good from behind and ahead. Certainly wont break the meta, no one will ever complain about this guy being too powerful. But I cant really see a reason not to play this card.

Justicar not being played in Druid would give me pause. Sure it might be consistent, but the battle cry isn't worth its mana cost and the hero power is just a bit better and not game changing like, say, the Mage or hunter one.

I don't think it's a beast. I believe they are supposed to be undead.

Why u guys talking about weakness-strongness :( Some of us playing this game for fun not copy decking from websites.

Because I'd say for most, even if they never play ranked or just stay around rank 20, it's extraordinarily difficult to separate fun from winning/trying your best.
That doesn't mean everyone netdecks, but most try to build their idea of the best deck possible.

posted a message on Gnomish Vampire breaks a cardinal rule of competitive game design.

Last I checked, people can change their minds about what is good or bad for the game.

And I believe the chance of a good top deck vs bad top deck (in a deck that cares) is very close to equal. Close enough that the card effect is close enough to zero that other cards are better to put in

I'd rather see something like a modified dirty rat: 2 mana 2/6 taunt your opponent draws 2 cards. Much prefer the ones that can theoretically give your opponents an advantage but give you a great body.

posted a message on Gnomish Vampire breaks a cardinal rule of competitive game design.

The problem I have with this topic is it's based on a very arbitrary definition of "no counter play."

For practical purposes for instance (Eg, competitive decks), most things a Mage does has no counter play too.

There is just about nothing a non-Mage can do to stop fireballs going where they want to. Same with Ice Block. Vast majority of decks cannot afford to run eater of secrets.

They can occasionally be played around but nothing to truly counter it.

This card I think is too bad to see real play. 2 big advantages of Dirty Rat is 1. Can react to whatever comes out. 2. It's a 2/6 for 2. Great stats. This is just a vanilla that rarely will actually make a difference and likely will hurt. Bad tempo card.

posted a message on meta is worse than before

I'm still amazed at how people don't realize how competition works. People will naturally trend towards the best options to win.

You are NEVER going to get a game reach some utopia where everyone plays "fun" decks forever. Every competitive game has a meta. Don't delude yourself.

Tl;dr, netdecking will ALWAYS be extremely popular.

posted a message on The Rogue Quest, The Caverns Below, is OP. Nerf it already.

I'd say TTK Mage has less counterplay than quest rogue.

At least with quest rogue they can't really stop you either at the start. So you have a couple turns of setup time

Mage on the other hand, it's stall until auto win. Only counter is dirty rat, possibly 2 sometimes. You draw Frost novas and the like and nothing stops you.

posted a message on What is your favorite deck thus far?

Midrange quest hunter with elementals. Fire fly and igneous elemental really help give you 1 drops so you don't need to weaken your deck too much with too many 1 drops

also run dinomancy. Think it's real good in these decks

The same way rogue's quest works with the elementals is how I'm getting the hunter One to work. Flame elementals are great for it. Allows you to have a lot less 1 drop minions. Also enjoying dinomancy because it gets your minions out of aoe range.

posted a message on Where are all my Inspire cards?

I'd say the problems with inspire are numerous but with them all starting on the fact that the cards are costed on you proccing the inspire multiple times with the minion Alive. Since the beginning of HS, minions just don't live for very long. Particularly ones with consistent effects (see emperor thaurisan)

more specifically: they were almost always over costed for their effects.

The only way to get value out of them was to play them at same time you could hero power. So they basically costed+2

Even the concept of them was pretty bad since by design hero power is severely overcosted for its mana. (For obvious reasons)

Last I checked, dirty rat can pull a gadgetzan auctioneer which you can then kill. This can't.

They just aren't the same cards and shouldn't really be compared to each other.

Theoretically, if buffadin becomes a thing, that basically is going to mean your opponent can't save all their removal for galvadon because they'll need to use it on the buffed minions.

Don't forget corrupted mukla. Possibly the best card for this theoretical deck.
