Jade Idol: 0 mana choose one: add 3 Jade idols to your deck and draw a card or summon a Jade Idol with charge.

Earthen Scales: 0 mana and now gives double the minion's hp as armor

Scarabs now have 3 attack and cannot be targeted by spells.

forge of souls now also adds 2 free upgrade cards to your hand.

Upgrade now gives your weapon poisonous and windfury as well.

Time Warp: for your 2nd turn also gives you 0 mana fire balls for each spell you cast.

The Caverns Below: now requires 4 minions of the same type and gives all your minions charge.

Uther of the Ebonblade: Horsemen now have stealth and cost 0 mana.

Well, quest Mage will eventually just kill you if given enough time.

For most people, it's hard to have fun when you are losing all the time.

For instance why no one plays pirate Mage

It's funny how people complain about card draw being RNG. In which card game can you freely choose what card you draw next?? What do people shuffle their decks for at the beginning??

There's a couple, and actually Hearthstone has essentially added targeted draws. Eg, Curator + primordial Drake, new forge of souls cards, ice fishing, arcanoligist, etc.

posted a message on Dust Maximizing: Potential nerfs after KotFT release?

I think in that case they'd be more likely to nerf/change Beardo because it's not played anywhere else so no one will care and I think the paladin Dk is balanced outside of that cheesy interaction.

posted a message on Everyone's debating which new deck is the strongest, but I'm more bothered by Quest/Freeze Mage

One thing I'm curious about is how aware were they that the exodia Mage was possible when they designed the quest and molten reflection? Did they see that the combo was possible to pull off with nothing on board with the right pieces?

I just really think Ice block has to go. It's similar to Jade idol for control decks in that there's no real counter play outside of a very specific tech card.

I don't think it's a good thing when you know the Mage (as the player or the opponent) is guaranteed to win multiple turns ahead of time because there is literally no way to kill the Mage.

posted a message on So it's supposed to be a new meta right?

Iirc, aggro decks ALWAYS are dominant when a new xpac launches as they feed on people refining decks and trying to figure out the T1 decks.

posted a message on Steal cards+ Death Knight cards, never thought about it.

In my 3rd game with my Rogue I came upon an interaction that makes sense but I never gave it a 2nd thought: cards like hallucination and swashburgler can grab the opposing class' Death knight hero.

Malfurion the Pestilent as Rogue certainly is interesting.

posted a message on Should Doomsayer be rotated out to Hall of Fame?

I'd say doomsayer is more played in slow decks that don't have any, or very few, natural early board clears. Like control paladin, Mage ofc, some warlocks pre-ungoro.

I'd rather see them get more class specific cards to cover that hole than a neutral.

Well they certainly didnt print a replacement this expansion, and i dont want to imagine a full expansion's time without a doomsayer equivalent. I think the card is too fundamental to be removed.

Well, I'm certainly not implying this expansion, would be 2 expansions from now in next spring.
Your last sentence though is exactly my reason for wanting it gone. Neutral cards shouldn't be that good or important.
To be noted too is that while they could print more oppressive aggro cards in the future, most of the important pirate warrior, aggro Druid and murloc paladin cards are leaving in rotation too.

Did you just call Doomsayer meta defining. You mean a meta from 3 years ago?

Without doomsayer you'd see a lot more aggro and a lot less Mage specifically.
Im not at all saying that would be a good thing to have more aggro and pirate warriors, but it's just to show how important this card is.
It's probably run just about as much as Azure Drake and it got removed for a similar reason I'm suggesting.

While not OP, it is extraordinarily meta defining. And in addition, its hard to find a situation where it would become unpopular.

What ever would replace frost nova doomsayer for instance?

While yes, in a vacuum (without seeing what new cards and strategies that come) it would swing more power to aggro decks, I think Doomsayer has had its day in the sun for plenty of time and it's time for something new.

posted a message on Whats your controversial KFT card opinion?

I think one thing that's hard to evaluate the princes on is their restrictions sound awful, but people may find out their decks don't run a 2, 3 or 4 mana card anyways which makes the restriction meaningless.

Maybe their effects wind up not being good anyways, but I wouldn't really judge them solely on their restrictions since it may not apply to all decks essentially randomly.

The 4 mana prince will see play in Rogue because it covers its weaknesses and Rogue doesn't really have 4 drops
