posted a message on Netdecking and reaching Legend?

One have to netdeck to maintain learning curve (akin to mana curve, but of other type :D ) Start with 'educational' decks involving detailed guides, inexpensive cards, strong synergies, explicit gameplay and clear win conditions; to learn archetypes basics, key cards and play-arounds. Continue with 'anti-meta' builds, trying to play with curve and techs to fit better. Go on with 'what-a-deck!' experiments. To succeed, finally ;-) (skipped to challenging legend) To netdeck archetype core(s) messing up while inventing sub-archetypes :D to fit your meta. Only the few are really capable of building playable unique decks from scratch.

If you study offered cards frequency, you understand which cards are likely to synergize.

If you find it worth calling someone a "postpubertal monkey" or even just an "inadequate being", then their behavior is worth criticizing aloud. Consistent statement of "this behavior sucks" from enough people has a strong tendency to make the poorly-adjusted people at first embarrassed (so that they stop doing it publicly), and later on if all goes well, just sometimes, they might stop doing it altogether. =P
When talking to trolls and flamers, being verbally tougher than they are makes It very easy to force them to knock it off.
By the way, some online games have surprisingly pleasant communities, actually. Obviously they still have dirtbags playing them too, but the numbers or ratios aren't the same from game to game. Though I believe I've noticed it tends to correlate with community size; little-played games have nicer communities in many cases. There are exceptions though.
I wish I could comprehend Zen as you did ;)
I'm from Russia, and, unfortunately, it is mainly me who is embarrassed seeing some of my fellow nationals' behavior, not them. Most notably, taking literally postpubertal beings who bring bad form everywhere they are around. I assume 50% probability the OP's rival was Russian. Trust me, there's only faint chance they 'might stop doing it'. It doesn't mean I agitate against trying to make things better, some monkeys of any breed and origin can be domesticated, civilized and even educated ;X But as for me:
HS is both relaxation and outwork for my brain, other sides are of little importance to me. I am ok with being involved in the community not. So I see no reason to waste time and emotions slippering :D
Now you know why my 'strategy' :)

Please tell me about another deck in hearthstone history that was able to push 28 dmg with a 3 card combo. Disgusting

DK + Raza before you are dead. Smite & MB often used for removals as OTK deck lacks minions; Smite often destroyed by Geist, also. Aggro- & especially mid- tempo decks mostly ruin OTK Razakus if no Raza at 5-7 and Primordial and DK at 8-9 and combo next few turns. Q-mage leaves almost no chance even with eater in priest's. What do you say about infinite damage combo at turn 9-13? :D
OTK Razakus is really great vs slow only, I'd say it's more tournament, than ladder deck. Ladder Razakus to have additional win conditions to be OP. "U don't like OTK Razakus? U just don't know how to cook it" :)

He's not wrong. There are many ppl out there that specialized on a single class, and are able to play and build a deck that is somewhat good against everything. I guess it depends what your goals are .

Right. There many people playing one deck and never getting above 5 if not Zetalot & co.
If a goal includes winning, one have to adapt to meta.

Using too many emoticons in every single comment, "rofl" and such... I already see that many people will like you here.
Anyways, you are completely wrong. Sticking to a deck is not obligatory to maintain positive win rate, if anything it's exactly the opposite of what you said - sticking to a single deck helps you learn to play it much better which in time helps you increase win rate.
Ok, baby (I like when people like me, sure ;))), let's put some more behind our words. We both start next season, play fixed number of ranked games, but you use one deck, whilst I switch and modify. We both put, let's say, $1k to smartcontract (Etherium, probably, Bitcoins' too expensive to maintain), the winner takes it all. Go? Or just bla-bla?

No. It's not the main point of the game (or any point), who lied to you? You don't have to switch decks.
Wow! Thanks, rofl :D You are using very specific words to express your opinion, can't stop laughing :)
My brain lied to me: it'd studied game design and concluded deck changing and switching being obligatory to maintain positive winrate. Afterwards, most of world top players acknowledged the stated. Can't even imagine lie within the company ;)

People who 'hate' priests, hunts, warrs etc. are just missing the main point of the game: one must switch decks, there's no universal decks and never will be.

    Go and learn something, cry-babies

Not sure about those people really - don't know any at all, but I win a lot and still am very unhappy about the game. So much so that barely play it in the other window as side amusement, while playing Gwent at the same time for real.
Lifecoach won a lot (the most of all players, had highest win rate in game in 2015 and 2016) and he still was very unhappy and quit the game for good for example... many pros that win a lot would also do that gladly unless they living depended on streaming and highrolling on tournaments. Nothing to do with  losing, but with unhealthy cards, unhealthy meta, huge RNG dependency increasing with each expansion...
I know of Lifecoach and his story. The thing is, that current meta would make him less unhappy, indeed. But it is not the main point.
I am tournament poker player and have to deal with dispersion which directly affects my wallet. There are streaks and beats, sometimes I get almost no money for a month or two. But I know what long run is. And I know that skill (=winrate) show up as $$ after a long haul.
Same for HS. It is card game, it is random. It is absolutely foolish to compare HS with chess, for example. We are dealing with probabilities and possibilities, not with precise calculations. То мany players really miss this point. And - Bob's your uncle - they can't take loosing. Sorry, man, it's studied at psychology faculty 2nd year. It is studied, also, that not everybody is this plain, but consideration to be shaved with Occam's razor :)
We all know 'too much RNG' meta times, but today's not this bad. It's just more complicated than most of the recent. So, alas, we are getting back to the previous paragraph.

they are unhappy for a good reason, nothing to do with mindset really...
I do respect your 'win-win' position, but can't see logic in the quoted above. Imagine, some inexperienced football players are unhappy with sophisticated rules and demand changes. No way Neyhmar & co agree, you see? :)
People are unhappy for not so good reason: they can't take they are loosing. More to say, meta is really nice to bring some decent multi-class experience, to get people used to drastic changes, to inspire deck building etc. But instead of being happy to learn, they curse it. What is it from if not mindset? :D

You don't get it do you?

When your opponent plays prince on 2 and shdowsteps it , Barnes on 4, raza on 5 anduin on 8 etc etc and you do not have as much high roll potensial in your deck you just lost the game even if you could choice what card to draw for the rest of the game .

That's why this meta is so stupid . It's all about high rolling or get high rolled .
Funny. My meta is about skill in every single match up. Even if an opp highrolls. Alongside this, my looserate vs topdecks, worst match ups and 'you just lost the game' situations tend to decrease constantly. I put it down for today I switch & change decks at least twice a week, & burn the wick almost every turn; as against one deck & 0-30 seconds respectively a year before. I've considered HS to be taken seriously if I want to outdo myself :) And all this approach brings plenty of fun, much more than when I'd been cursing meta, you see? ;)
