I always wonder how people are so sure that they are playing against bots.. I play a lot of hearthstone and there were times, although rarely, i was considering whether my opponent was a bot, but i was never sure. How do people actually tell ?
Sometimes i feel like people heard a streamer say something about bots and they are suddenly convinced that they are playing bots all the time. Maybe they are - i would just like to know how to be sure..

Certain play patterns. Same delay between commands, replies to your first emote only with greetings, hovers over hero power and clicks it even when nothing happens, makes nonsensical trades, no arrows on attacks, doesn't concede when they are in topdeck mode in late game. Not all at the same time, but there are various little things you can pick up on if you have a keen eye...

By those criteria i might be mistaken for a bot in some games xD

I think only minions on the board can die. Everything else gets destroyed and thus does not count as dead.

    It's one of those again...

Small sample size and confirmation bias.

posted a message on No it's not bias, key cards are sniped immediately after taunt dies.

This has certainly some more merit than the usual "its all rigged"-posts but as YourPersonalGuru pointed out a proper statistical analysis of the data would be helpful.
But that aside i wanted to point out that baron dying earlier than other minions could also be because of its usually lower health compared to a lot of other minions. Baron rarely has more than its standard 7 health while most minions in the later stages tend to have much more.

I'm actually surprised that more people than not seem to dislike buddies. I personally really liked them and hope they'll return someday. The first few BG games felt kinda boring without them, even with the addition of nagas.

Also strongly recommend to play Tickatus. But agreed, that you need strong APM to actually get most of it's power.

Very nice :O Thats an insane final comp !

By far the most broken interaction in BGs currently is playing Tickatus via Sir Finley. If you get your hands on a Brann before you get the last 2 Finley buddies what happens is:

    • The first Finley buddy gives you 2 Tickatus buddies
    • You play the first Tickatus buddy and discover 2 late game treasures
    • You play the 2nd Finley buddy and get 2 more Tickatus buddies, thus tripling it up
    • You play the golden Tickatus buddy and get 4 more late game treasures for a total of 6 treasures + a free tier5/6 minion from playing a golden
    • Now if somehow you manage to get a golden Brann before you do all that then you do all of the above on steroids

Attached is my final comp. In my hand I  had 5 random 6-drops, 2 Argent Braggarts and a spell to refresh my gold that I never got to

You actually don't need to do it with Finley. Tickatus by itself with a bran can give you endless treasures (because of the "make a minion golden an return it to your hand"). With enough apm you can make all your minions golden, give them +10/+10 divine shield and windfury and endlessly keep going. Also all minions will cost 0 once you played the treasure that makes them cost 1 less 3 times and the first 5 rerolls each turn are free. I've managed to get to this state twice but you need so much apm to make good use of it and keep buying the free minions fast enough :D Still won both times.

posted a message on I am level 58 (I don't own tavernpass), any chance to get level 100 before next reset?

You need pretty much exactly 100k XP to get from 58 to 100: 7*1200 + 2*2100 + 3000 is 15600 xp per week only from quests. Since its only 2 weeks you would need to get almost 70k only from playing which seems.. kinda hard. I've read that you get around 400XP/hour for playing ranked. Using that number you would need to play 12 and a half hours of ranked each day. So i guess it is possible - not likely tho :D
