Bibikis posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #4.10 [SUBMISSION]Posted in: Fan CreationsGoing enter this competition with one of my custom sets I made for Rogue. Since it follows the rules this week perfectly. If you want to check those sets out, including an adventure. Click any of the images in my signa.
Placement of the Tiny Spymaster is random, if there are more than 2 cards BUT always in between 2 cards if possible.
As always, good luck everyone.

RandomScribbles posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #4.07 [SUBMISSION]A very flexible and flavorful card thanks to interaction with the Hungry Crabs. You can get a weak 2 drop that gives you two weak 1 drops if that’s what you want. Or you can feed the murloc to the first Hungry Crab and make a 3 mana 3/4 beast with the other Hungry Crab in your hand. Or you can completely destroy opposing murloc decks. Doesn’t mix well with Anyfin Can Happen, but is super flexible for Zoobot, Menagerie Magician, and The Curator thanks to its dual tribe nature.

ManyCookies posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #4.06 [SUBMISSION]A Mortal Coil-esque minigame for Priests, which have lots of ways of manipulating health and attack (on your minions) in both directions. My balance concerns in spoilers:
The card is very much high-risk high-reward. The potential for gigantic values swings is obviously there, if you can get three-four "last hits" on 5+ mana minions. But the "last hit" is far from trivial to set up, especially on those higher-cost larger-health minions you'd really like to steal, it's low impact against more aggressive starts (you won't always have the luxury of running minions and your face into 4 mana 7/7s), and it's kind of horrendous in any top-deck scenario.

StarryD1 posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 3.04 [Submission Topic]Archaeology is built on "man power".
Best way I could format the wording. So if 3 minions die then you play this, you'll discover a (3) cost card. If 8 minions die, you'll discover an 8 cost card. Still useful at (0) if you need a BackStab or Innervate.

Sinthuja posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 3.03 [Submission Topic]If the second Choose One option is chosen:
The legendary king of Gilneas is maybe the best choice as a Choose One minion outside the Druid class. When the damage option is chosen, Greymane remains in his human form, using his gun as a weaponand enters the battlefield as a slightly weaker Fire Elemental. But because Rogue has an access to cards like Shadowstep, they benefit from the effect more than Shamans and can reuse it several times. Actually with a legendary like this Anub'ar Ambusher could actually become useful in a Rogue deck.
In case the second option is chosen, Greymane transforms into his Worgen form and works as a legendary 6 mana version of Worgen Infiltrator and can be used as a powerful finisher. The interesting note is that as long as he remains in his human form, he can reuse the choose one ability if returned back into the hand. But if the worgen form Greymane is returned to the hand, he stays in the worgen form forever, fitting greatly into his lore of how he avoids letting go to his anger or his worgen form might consume his heart. Hope you enjoy! :)
Lore:
Lord Genn Greymane is the king of the nation and kingdom of Gilneas. He is a brawny warrior who must be in his seventies, and has ruled Gilneas for decades.
Time and again, King Genn Greymane has been forced to make difficult decisions to sustain Gilneas’s well-being and autonomy. Following the Second War, he ordered the construction of the seemingly impenetrable Greymane Wall to protect his people from outside threats, effectively closing off the nation from the world and its petty conflicts. For years the wall did as intended, but when the worgen curse spread into Gilneas, the enormous barrier began to resemble the gateway to a prison rather than a sanctuary. Now, with Forsaken in nearby Silverpine Forest and the worgen curse poised to destroy everything that Genn and his forebears had labored to build, Gilneas’s proud king must do everything in his power to save his kingdom. Due to his anger over the dire situation, however, Genn’s most arduous trial ahead might be subduing his own fury before it consumes him entirely.

I agree. Standards been pretty stale forna while now. Love battlegrounds but absolutely no desire to play standard. Not about being lazy, it's about having fun.

Drake has taunt. If this had taunt it would make warrior dragon too op

You hero power has to do exactly 8 dmg or else this card is terrible.... right??
1
there's already legendary spells. kazakus creates one i think.
i do think they will do a set where ever class gets 1 legendary spell....but that's cause its an obvious route to take, especially after legendary weapons
3
Im sure a recruit based deck will love this

Priest now has 3 massive board clears in DK, Dragon fire and This. If DK/Raza didnt exist this card will be fine.... however, this card is so strong cause it actually opens up a card spot for Highlander priest as you can cut SW horror/pint size and add this to better effect.
My main issue isnt this card but DK's battlecry... makes it almost impossible to build a good board to kill proest b4 DK

I havent recieved mine yet?? Weird??

I don't see it as a counter. Just a card that fits the n'zoth archetype as well as maybe quest druid.

I usually like to run both if possible. They are probably the two best defensive 3-drops in the game. Tar creeper is better for board control but stonehill is better for value. I'd use both as Tar Creeper is easily the better card against aggro when stonehill is easily better against control. If you can only run 2, I'd suggest either adding 1 and 1 or just looking at the meta and using it as a tech choice.

Only mage and shaman should be able to freeze. These guys couldn't think of crap so they decided to fleece everyone for money on a new set.
Hearthstone teams worried the game will get stale? It certainly will if this level of design keeps up.
