Thanks for help. I crafted doomguard and dwarf and they are great. (I knew it) I replaced clerics and argent. Problem with undertaker is that it would cost me 1400 gold or money, but I could easily craft competetive face hunter too just for 200 dust, I have all good hunter cards except flare and 1 bow-I have only 1.
Hi, I want to go competetive with one of my decks and my best chance to get competetive build cheap is probably zoo. This is my zoolock build. I have about 500-600 dust I can spend either here or on other decks.
I'll list here cards I don't have that are common in zoos. First the cards that are in almost every zoo.
Doomguard: I know it's great card, but I'm playing argent commander instead and commander is pretty good too.
Flame imp: Great in early game, but can be a problem later, especially if you are low on life. I think I have enough 1 drops right now.
Dark iron dwarf: This card is in every zoo and it's a great card in my opinion, I want to craft 2, but I already have about 70% common cards from packs, so crafting could be spending 80 dust to make another 5 dust if I got it in packs.
Undertaker: Very popular card in modern zoo and great card in my opinion. Problem is that I have unlocked only plague and arachnid quarters and 1400 gold to get undertaker/chow/scientist feels too much, especially when military quarter rewards aren't really interesting to me.
Cards that are played in some zoos. (Optional)
Young priestess/argent squire I have 1 of both of them, they were in 90% of old zoos, but now I don't see that often, I think it's because of undertaker and other naxx cards. I don't think it's worth crafting these for zoo now, maybe another squire.
2nd void terror. Played in some zoos to combo with power overwhelming, nerubian eggs, or small minions when you are expect incoming aoe. It's risky minion, but I like it. I have only 1 from packs.
More silences: I have 2x spellbreaker and 1x owl in my collection. I already seen zoo with spellbreaker or 2x owl, so it might be good to get more silence.
Zombie chow/echoing ooze. Again, played in some zoos, but I only unlocked 2 quarters.
Hellfire/shadowflame Quite rare in zoos and usually worse for you than your opponent, but it can be useful against aggro, that develops big board even faster. Also shadowflame can combo with power overwhelming.
Mortal coil-used in some zoos, but I'm not sure about it.
Scarlet crusader/amani berserker/acidic swamp ooze. Just a few more minions that are sometimes used in zoo, but not much.
Any help would be apreciated. If anybody is interested you can look at my other decks too. I wonder how much dust I'd need, or what to change to make another competetive deck from my other decks. Sorry for the long post.
Nerubian egg-avoided to pick, because I had no buffs, so only usability would be protection vs AOE, but still mage can smash the egg and flamestrike afterwards. And ancient mage, even weaker card in my opinion. Only kind of removal in my deck can be considered lot of divine shields, but that's all. If my opponent trade his minions with me every turn so none of my minions survive I could be easily wrecked by magma rager. It's a bad draft, but lot of card options I had were a joke and you can be sure that if I see any single piece of removal I'd instantly pick it.
Edit: Forgot 1 dwarf, but that's really low amount of buff, so nerubian egg would be useless most of the time.
Do anybody have an experience of having really bad combinations cards you can choose to draft from? For example choice of 3 bad cards multiple times, or having no/very little key cards to choose from all 90 cards?
I had this problem last draft, where I picked paladin and in 90 cards I could draft there was no single piece of removal or weapon. I got quite good minions and card draw was also not so bad, but with no removal it was too hard to play for me, because I had no answers even against magma rager, if opponent could clean my board every turn. I got no epic and legendary cards to pick from and ended 2-3. This was my deck.
To top that I played against druid with turn 3 sludge belcher and 3x ironbark protector and paladin with 3x guardian of kings and tirion (I won against him)
I'm in similar situation as a hunter player as the buzzard nerf made this card almost useless (5 mana drop that can die to simple holy smite and usually needs to survive a turn to get high potential-which is unlikely with weak 3-2 stats)
So I decided to experiment a little and made a midrange hunter with some zoo-like cards for early game pressure that doesn't completely rely on beasts. Since I have unlocked only plague quarter in naxx I can't play undertaker deathrattle hunter or mad scientist trap hunter so I decided to try this.
Meanwhile in my packs... I want to have some of your luck in opening packs. My latest packs were disapointment, usually 4 commons 1 rare, sometimes 3 commons 2 rares with most commons being cards I can disenchant directly and rares were average. I opened about 40-50 packs and got 5 epics 2 bad legends (nozdormu, malygos) and the rest common/rare cards with about 2 golden rares and 5 golden commons.
Best use of this card: Play Leeroy attack one of the whelps he spawned and end the turn. You now have a free turn, because your opponent does nothing and runs out of time after falling down off the chair laughing.

I'm not sure if this will work, because it miss draw power now. But I'm testing it and I'll see how this can work.

Now I feel lucky I decided not to craft flares yet, because I wanted to go competetive with hunter.
