I just feel like anything innovative gets put down by the immense amount of Pally and Mage decks. If you play pally, you beat all the mages, if you play mage you beat everything but pally.
It just becomes, why bother inventing something new, if it has to fight 10 mages in a row and win every single game
of 15 matches today, 12 were mage and 3 were warlock.... I'm bewildered that 3 days in, people are heavily abusing a single net deck and theres no hard counter to it yet (since i would have fought it equally as many times as mage)
People like you play hearthstone from like 1 year or less and complain about everything man i play this game since 2014 and believe me when I say this meta is really not toxic back in 2014 we had some really toxic metas like the face only face hunter the Xmas tree paladin so please man stop. A stupid 1/3 scorpion with poison doesn't need a nerf if something needs a nerf are cards able to get basically infinite value for a really small cost and the 1/3 scorpion isn't one of those cards.
ehhh my first day was grand tournament, but you can be a HS grandpa and pretend that things aren't power crept every rotation
Of all the cards you could have highlighted, you chose the poisonous version of the Vulpera Scoundrel????
This is day 2, there is no set meta while everyone gathers their bearings with the new rotation. If anything, watch posts are proving to be almost essential to any non-aggressive deck at the moment and aren't particularly fun to play against.
what does vulpera do? what does it actually do? it hits board and dies. scorpion is a free trade 90% of the time, you are forced to play around it
Dude are you high? First of all, it's day 2. You shouldn't call for nerfs. Second, Venomous Scorpid is prefectly fine. In fact, I played ~100 games and haven't seen it once. But it seems like a solid card, not broken by any means.
guess you're playing battlegrounds
P.S. your justification for it being balanced was you haven't seen people play it. That's not a good counter argument, try again.
I seldom give a rat packs ass about cards or nerfs. but this card is the single most feels bad card to play against so far this rotation.
It's just barely above "easy to deal with" stats having 3 health
And there are so many strong spells it can pull. Ontop of that the poison basically eats up this meta since theres not a surplus of good deathrattles, reborns or divine shields yet since we just hit the rotation.
If you're playing a deck that can afford to run it, its being run and doing too well. You can ping back to this message in 2 weeks when every deck thats climbing is using it.
Clearly watch posts are strong. I doubt they will be nerfed or even if they are probably very lightly. But from what I can see, one deck is quite mean with them. And that's basically a Value warlock deck.
Now the thing that makes this deck quite annoying is that it can match up blow for blow with all the control decks. It also can just steam roll some decks with it's midrange capabilities. I'm pretty sure i don't need to go into deep explanation from what you can see with the deck. But its a lot of hiding behind your watch posts, clearing board, and setting up for your late game cards. C'thun cards are good activators for cascading corrupts (c'thun himself can wipe off a priest who is trying too hard to cause a 30 minute game).
So far i've not had any games where things just felt bad unless someone completely out lucked me. I think the only thing that can be a threat is hyper aggro, but you do have cheap minion clears and mor'shan/far watch posts to slow them down.
I think a variant of this deck will be at least A tier, maybe not S tier, but now a days what even is S tier :p
If blessing of kings is the only holy card however, then i'd have to play around with more stuff, I did remove the consecrates in favor of lord barov and blade master as they essentially will do the same thing with more options. I could consider removing the holy draw 1 costs in favor of rush broom or Pen thrower
it seems you are trying to keep the towers alive but sunfury + 2 argus are overkill they are definetly unncesarry and i would say blessing of kings is unnecessary too, since you already have libram and hand of adal and
you can definetly use new 4/3 rush legendary, holy spells cost 1 less and 4 mana 1/6 rush frenzy is pretty good with librams and lord barov is needed for big board clears
thats what i think at least myself planing, but i aggre paladin might be the best class for tower stuff gonna try myself smth like this too :)
i consider the sunfury and argus as ways to just flat stop aggro. its bad enough tower3 summons monsters to counter them, but being able to drop a tower 2 and tower 3 and argus them can just GG almost any game. At most sunfury might be useless as they are already soft taunted.
I guess the idea is that Paladins already are pretty annoying and buffy, They have one of the highest potentials to keep the towers alive and make them annoying. I will say though i'm at a cross roads where I feel like I need more draw power but so many cards are needed.
The 7 watchpost cards can't go, i guess you can pull away 1 or 2 lib spells if its necessary. maybe sunfury can go to 1. Not sure what else to go with though. I guess being able to draw more would help so adding another one of the guys that draws holy spells and the 2mana draw 1 buff minion spell might be good.
Peacekeepers could be swapped for draw cards, but i'd probably need something on 3 for them, maybe Acolyte
Just something i'm messing around with. its mostly a heavy control warlock deck with a lot of fun tools. Overall it's been pretty consistent and taps in a handful of the newer cards.

A general rule of thumb, is if you have to play around a neutral that isn't a legendary. it's strong

Assuming more cards might be coined holy I'd consider this.

This is with the max changes i'd try to optimize draw power

When a deck plays strong on 4 mana having the coin to put out 2 is actually really strong. If you're playing a ton of 1-3 drops its not as useful

Isn't there a pity timer for this when your deck has a bigger advantage going second?
