Being able to run 2 is a lot more impactful than people think. Playing your Ray of Frost and it's twinspell, then 2 Mana Cyclones, is 6 Mana for decent bodies/effects and 4 spells. Toss in am Evocation and it's 4 Mana for 4/4 in stats and some freeze/damage alongside 6 spells.
I think people are overlooking this card's anti-aggro power. In zoo decks and a lot of other aggro decks, the summoned minion will usually just trade for 1-3 damage, making Hecklebot a Sen'jin Shieldmasta at worst. It's garbage against Control, though, and that looks like it'll be the name of the game come April.
Without Battlecries, your tempo/interactivity is a bit more limited, but you gain double Deathrattle effects in return. Would appreciate any feedback. :)
Absolutely insane. It's a much lighter constraint than Baku/Genn, with a stronger effect and a better body. Honestly, the effect is so strong, it could be a 10-mana 1/1 and it would still be overpowered.
Hmmm good point, what about "Your Deathrattle minions cost (1) less" instead of double trigger? I think that's a fairer balance?
I'm trying to think of how broken that could be. Turn 1 Mad Scientist in wild, 0 mana Saronite Taskmaster, it might enable some nasty combos. It's basically like drawing and casting a free Wild Growth at the start of the game. It's a lot closer, but honestly, Start of Game effects are really powerful in general. Maybe switching it to a battlecry or a passive effect would be better.

I tell you guys this is new Barnes, defenitly fitting in combo decks with Malygos/Velen and Big Priest potetialy, also Mechatun decks i guess to could use it
Uuuuh the whole point of Barnes is to cheat it out on turn 3 or 4. If you have to wait until turn 8 or 9, you may as well just play the big card itself.
I think this is insanely overrated. It seems really efficient, but, how often is it more than a 2-mana 1/1 deal 2? It honestly seems like a downgrade to Elven Archer.
These cards will never be good if you're killing something small enough that you don't really mind killing it. You need targets that you actively want to kill, and right now, that's just Scarab Egg, which fills your board too much to be used in zoo.

There's always the same amount, it just seems different because we've only seen a third of the cards

Man if Blackguard was still in...

It probably will, since the cards are cycling

Or else what? Blizzard loses an entitled brat from their fanbase?

If value rogue becomes a thing, this will be an incredible card. Value rogue has always been garbage, but maybe this is it's time to shine

The idea is that this meta might me the one to make control rogue a thing. You can't just say "it's never worked" and dismiss it

It's not so much a combo as an option. Control Pally would like to run those 3 cards anyway, and this interaction is just a nice option
