posted a message on What do you do when you get really bad rolls?

I've noticed that there are times I roll really really bad, like turn 6 and I'm at 18 health while 2-3 other players are clearly high rolling.

    Quit and move on?

Sorry buddy, murlocs mostly don't work when you push it early. You have to get incredibly lucky to pull it off from the beginning. Good non salty players know that you need to have a good midrange build and hit tavern 5 in order to fish for a Bran, the King or the discover 2 murlocs, so you can triple and get the Megasaur. I too have been in many lobbies where Murlocs don't win, and I never claimed that they do (Learn to read it will do wonders).

The problem lies in the final comp of Bran/triple/Mega and now Amalgadan. Demons, Dragons, Pirates, Managerie take time to build up and being able to be taken down by a 2-3 turn comp should not be a thing. And yet, you can see most players going for the Murloc comp. I am one of them and it is incredibly effective to the point of feeling dirty lol.

In the future avoid the condescending tone and be more articulate in your discussion, it will do wonders!

They need to go for at least a season... With the new Brann it's just Murloc spam and everyone is on a race to get murlocs from tavern 5 forward... it is sucking the fun out of the game. There is nothing more frustrating than pulling a good dragon run and lose against divine shield and poison just because the other players got lucky an pulled a Brann with 5 murlocs to get a Beast to give the tiny things those abilities. It destroys variety and strategy as there is only one tribe that is able to win most of the time.

DK Rexxar is 8 mana, that way maybe every hunter deck doesnt have it.

Spell Hunter auto loses to Odd Warrior. You could boost it to 10 mana and hunter will still run it because at least you have a win rate against that match-up.

Not one deck is made to beat all other decks. DK Rexxar is nuts for 6 mana. There is a reason why all the other DK's are more costly. I understand that Hunter loses it's main HP of 2 damage that bypasses most board mechanics but at 6 mana it's just too early. Especially with the rate of beasts available at 5 mana and under - not even considering all the abilities you find in those brackets (lifesteal, silence, rush, charge, taunt, stealth, etc). I' fine with the 2 mana build a beast but that DK needs to have a higher cost. Building a beast at turn 7 forward is too much for any control deck. From turn 9 forward it evens the table.

Can we stop with this whole "Combos are non-interactive" bs? Do you even know what the term means in the context of a card game, because it isn't as flat as 'Can I completely stop my opponent's game plan and automatically win or not?' Throwing out memey reddit buzz words aren't going to make you anybody's waifu.

Do you know what interaction means?

    Here:

    interaction

     noun
    in·ter·ac·tion | \ˌin-tər-ˈak-shən  \

1the act of talking or doing things with other people Board games encourage interaction.

2the action or influence of things on one another interaction of the heart and lungs

If I just sit there and watch as you play your cards because I can't do anything during your turn, I can't interact with your process. Like Shudderwock Shaman where you simply run board wipes, freezes, heals and play battlecries until you can play your combo. Exodia Mage, Paladin, etc. Now Druid has more combos, Paladin. It's like MtG modern, legacy, and cEDH - just seeing who can combo first. Except in MtG I can interact [Meaning, I can interrupt your play(s)]during your turn for the most part.

Next time, try to interact with the poster in a more positive way.

Not sure if I am missing something.

But this last expansion feels like everyone is playing solitaire and the game has become less interactive and players are forced to just sit and watch the other go off with w/e combo they are playing.

Not a complain but seeing if others are experiencing the same?

What feels worse to play against?

Anything that people play over and over that is popular... It doesn't matter what it is, after seeing the same deck 7-10 time in an hour I just want to crack their fingers with pliers.

I have not played enough with this version but there are problems in pulling off Molten Reflection [/card] with so many 2 mana minions. I have played with 2 [card]Molten Reflection s (No Leyline Manipulator ) and it's better if you can't pull off Simulacrum and you have no Molten or your single molten got milled (Druid matchup with the Naturalize) . Leyline does give you a body but still...

Also, I'd rather sub Luna with Acolyte, Thalnos is just another 2 drop competing with the Apprentice.
