LOL You are out of your mind. I just played 5 games and 4 of them I got roflthopter by freeze shaman (High rolling discover cards with Devolving missiles, Hex, etc - and repeating it with the parrot). Then Casino Rogue high rolling like crap lol.

No deck needs to be nerfed, they have effectively taken the skill out of deck building with the discover and add random card mechanics, where you can suck at making a deck and still win due to the luck factor.

Just play the game knowing this is a clown fiesta and you will be fine

Is there a way to fix the player base? So many people playing the same crap that is fashionable. Makes the game stale fast...

Right now, it is the most disgusting deck to play against. Just play Quest Mage and watch them cry

Well, looks like BGs are the only way to play this fukin game with the incredible amount of people with 1 IQ to play the same crap everyone else is playing

Best fix is to not play it. Simple. Take a couple of months break and then if you come back to play it understand that there is a very low skill level on the game. You want to play a skillful game, learn chess.

These forums can be exhausting to read sometimes. I just want a place where I can go and talk about a game I like. Why is it always this polarizing debate about how cards are ruining the experience for everyone else?

 This isn’t supposed to come off as mean, but you were playing the deck when it was bad. So everyone playing it now is just a result of it, well, not being bad anymore. 

A multitude of things resulted in the deck now being good. 

1. Refreshing spring water is broken. The deck has hit a critical mass of card draw. 

2. As for deck of lunacy, a LOT of terrible expensive spells rotated. Deck of lunacy was massively buffed by this rotation. 

3. Finally, with a new year came a new rotation, obviously. The decks of the previous meta no longer exist, decks that destroyed spell mage. 

So you have a combination of many things that pushed spell mage up to the top. The deck is very consistent, does not need lunacy to win, and is even more absurd if you get an early lunacy. 

Even if lunacy gets nerfed to “unplayability,” I still think spell mage is tier 1. It’s just an insane deck even without it. 

It is just such an unfun deck to play against.  To many games where I know I have lost by turn 5 becuase they hit jack pots on all the spells they draw for free with the spell that draws cards and gives you mana back if its a spell drawn. Just got out of a game where on turn 5 the guy went from an empty board to 7 3/4's and killing both my creatures. Having all that happen makes me not want to play anymore games. It doesn't happen every time but it's also not a rare thing for player to get 3 turns of value in one turn.

Removing cards prizes was fine, but they also removed the likes of Zerus..the game feels a bit stale.

It's highlighted my main issue with the mode - the first few turns you have no freedom. See a sellemental or token on 1, you must buy. on 6 gold you can't roll, you must buy whatever shit is in tavern, level after that and again buy whatever shit is in tavern, then you must go to four asap, sometimes a turn early but you need to be on 4 so you can tripple into a 5 if you get a tripple.

Tavern tiers 1 to 3 become irrrelevant, unless playing a hero like Arianna. When you hit that tripple on 4 you get either a baron or a nomi or a brann or Hoggar or lightfang...or hell even a Mythrax or Razorgore you can finally start to actually play the game.

The mode is becoming played out, it needs more complexity. Badly. I don't really mean Prizes back, that is just more power spikes. I'm talking more tavern tiers. I'm talking more health for the heroes. I'm talking more cool minions with cool effects. I'm talking making the endgame more than just stats vs poisonous vs divine shields. Blizzard will look at the numbers and think "people are still loving playing, we shouldn't change it up too much" but this would be a mistake - they need to be brave and innovate.

I am also running into this bug, it keeps letting opponents hit me for 40+ damage first and placing me in 8th place. Blizzard really needs to fix this

Yes, also sometimes I'm not able to get any triples for many turns. Bob's tavern constantly spamming other types minions and when lucky triple occurs on T4 I get always shit discover. Hopefully this gets fixed soon, buggy as hell.

What's unfair is depending on your battle animations and length some players get more time than others. Turn time should be a fixed amount. People using this exploit are just ensuring a fair timer, everyone should do it.
