So far it only buffs 10 cards in a deck, assuming you run all totems as duplicates in Totem Shaman so I think it’d need a few more totems revealed within the set to be good. Otherwise it just feels like it’s one of those cards that needs an already wide board to be good. Worth noting that turning your Totem Goliath from a 5/5 into a 6/6 isn’t too great either.
That's kinda the point. The reward given is powerful, thus it should have a downside.
none of the quest are even doing well in the standard meta though
Shaman and Warlock will probably see a lot of play next expansion though and I love paladin quest so I still try to play it even though it sucks.
It’s because the cards are over a year old. Every expansion releases more powerful cards so the Quests aren’t needed anymore. It was the same with the Ungoro quests.
Strongest class legendary announced so far by a long way.
As a player who usually uses Pure Paladin to hit legend with, this card is exceptional.
7 damage, 7 heal and a taunt unit that the opponent has to get through. However in saying that, while I am sure it will fit into every pure deck, the deck doesn't really need it. In most cases it's going to be a more expensive but lower stat'd Libram of Hope (after discounts), but with the benefit of rush.
It does have a few other cons though:
This is a late game card, where often how a pure paladin can lose, is to lose the board early to a high aggressive deck (eg Hunter)
It gets messed up by bomb warriors, on account of the bombs counting as neutrals
I don’t think it’s as strong as the Demon Hunter card.
Is it just me or is blizzard becoming less and less and less and LESS creative with their cards. So far thumbs down for me
Must admit that the cards revealed since the original reveal have been a bit boring. Guess it’s hard to stay creative when more and more ideas are being introduced but I think the Old Gods are all pretty strong (N’Zoth maybe not so much) and will completely change the meta.
The bomb is not even supposed to shuffle your whole deck. What it is supposed to do is "shuffle a bomb INTO your deck".
Which does not mean it shuffles your deck at all.
But Polkelt refuses to order your deck if there is even one bomb in it.
This is clearly a bug.
Do you know what shuffle means? If you shuffle a card into a deck, the deck will always be completely re-ordered. Otherwise it would have to say randomly place a card within your deck.
When are they going to take a serious look into wild? Patch after patch, and nothing seems to be done.
What do you want to happen in Wild?
I don’t play it myself... but am always curious when people complain about it. I mean, I just feel that obviously it’s always going to be broken. There’re just too many cards to have a balanced meta.
I disagree. In a meta where there are a lot of big minions it can and will likely be a very good card. Especially in classes that can hero power a token to give to your opponent.
And in what way do you have to build a deck around him?
I don’t really find the fact that the matches are long to be a problem. It’s just that they’re completely unpredictable.
Like I said, you can’t really try and bait out a Soul Mirror when your opponent may easily have another two. But at the same time you can’t just shove down a huge threat because he may have generated a Shadow Word Death instead. You just have no idea what to do really.
Even a card like Mindrender Illucia wouldn’t be so bad if your opponent couldn’t generate two or three more of them.
And the worst thing is, nearly every single other Priest Mechanic that exists is just frustrating to play against. Resurrect? Frustrating to play against. Having your minions stolen? Frustrating to play against. Silence? Frustrating to play against. You’re basically punished for playing your cards.
So when you’re ruined by all these frustrating mechanics that have all been randomly generated so you literally have no idea they’re coming... obviously you end up having long and very irritating match ups that basically boil down to how good your opponents randomly generated cards are. So although I don’t mind a long game... when I lose a long game to a random card or 20, yeah... it’s frustrating.

I don’t see this seeing play in a top tier deck. I do like the card though. Definitely one of the more interesting class legendaries of the set.

What worries me is all these seemingly op aggro cards we are seeing in the new set. I don’t think much is going to change.

Better have some good and cheap rush cards in the set because I don’t think this is good with the current pool.

Wasn’t Mark of the Lotus a very good card?? I seem to remember very strong token Druid decks around that time.

It’ll have a maximum repeat frequency, all cards do. Defile, for instance, will only repeat 14 times so I’d imagine this would be the same.

They’d probably wish you good luck in getting invited to another of their events, and your chosen career would likely be severely restricted.
