As someone who opened a second account recently, I can confirm that this kind of people exist and you recognize them easily : zoo / freeze or other T1 decks don't belong to the 20-19 ranks especially past the first 10 days of a new season. And even if some are just veteran players backs from a break, I think they are a tiny part of those top-tier decks players
Now, there's not much you can do about it, even by changing the rules about golden heroes because farming noobs will still be interresting for quests and golds.
On a positive note, more and more farmers have their golden portraits nowaday and in consequence you run against fex of them than a year ago.
I understand perfectly well your argument for the combo being OP, I just don't agree at all
Is there another 2 cards combo that allow you to do at least 14 points ? And with Thaurissan (and a bit of luck) you can go up to 22 points on 9 mana.
When playing against a druid you know that under 15 health you're dead, where you now you're generally still alive against a mage.
If druid isn't dominant in the meta, it's because there is a lot of aggro decks and because Blizzard didn't provide new efficient tools, so if you draw poorly (or your opponent have a nice hand), you can't slow the game enought
The fact is, paying customers are upset and most likely won't pay again. PAYING customers are as important or maybe even more important than f2pcustomers. We are maybe les's in numbers but certainly invest a lot more.
Yeah, I totally agree with you. I am pissed each time a new version of a video game is out because my now older version don't have the new shining features and I can't play with the ones playing the latest version.
More seriously, card rotation is part of card games life cycle for decades now, and with material ones, you can't even have powerful cards without paying.
Whales will continue to invest in HS at least to keep having the most useful cards as quick as possible. And the ones that just buy some packs at the start of an extension, it won't change their life.
Ask yourself this question : Do you still use some of the cards you spent money for 2 years ago ?
Agree with the above poster. Lifecoach/Trump aren't good people to listen to regarding new cards and deck design. Mainly, because they just copy whatever the most popular deck at the time is. There is as reason why they are never top legend..they can't create good counter decks to the top decks out..they just play the top decks and reach rank 200 legend which is so easy to do.
So we can easily assume you're rank 200 legend each season.
And congrats to you if it's the case, but please remember that being a top skilled player doesn't mean every body is. Even with a lot of training, being a Tom Brady / Valentino Rossi / Federer / Insert your favorite sport hero here isn't given, you need training, sure, but raw talent too. A lot of training and a lot of raw talent.
Sure, when I lose with my control warrior against a face hunter it's mostly due to the P2W (btw HS is a P2Accelerate game like all TCGs are) thing, mixed with a ton of RNG.
Srsly there are somme funny series with packs, like 2 golden shaman maces (+ a non golden one) in my last two packs, Some times fun (or strange) things happens with RNG.
I think we'll be able to get the golden crads from our collection, but for the brawl specific ones, thee's no chance it will be possible, except with spells like golden mindvision, but they certainly wont be animated.
There is no simple way to report them (yet ?) within Hearthstone.
You can eventually use the battle.net app to signal bad behavior (you should have a bubble on the freidlist icon and double-clicking a name should so the last messages), but it doesn't work on mobile devices (no battle.net app) and I am not sure it works if they remove you from their friendlist .
The one and only remaining solution with HS is to make a screenshot like you did and send it to blizzard. If I am right, the mail address is on the sticky posts of the official support forum. It's sad to have such an outadted report mechanism, , but it's the only real one.
A lot of them will still farm rank 20 players, because if it still be easier than climbing. You're basically not there for quests as it will be at most 5 games max (The 7 wins can be done against IA), so clearly it's for portrait and/or gold cap. And If it was just the matter of 2/3 games a day, nobody will really notice it and come on. Once you have de decent enought collection to build 3/4 really good netdecks it doesn't take that long to do quest on ladder. I do it everyday, being rang 13 actually, and it's not really hard. At worst I have a bad day some times and it takes time while loosing ranks, but who cares ?
Making climbing a valuable thing in term of rewards will request very interreisting ones to incentivise people facing really challenging opponents. And of course in the process some may feel offended because the really nice rewards are out of reach and the game will feel even more a P2W than they actually think it is, just because they will need to buy pack in order to have better cards to strenghten their decks to obtain those cool rewards.
And don't forget an impoortant point : in order to climb past rank 20, you really need someone else to loose and get stuck on lower ranks, because at this point loosing a game is loosing a star, when actually virtaully everybody can hope reaching rank 20, even if you are the only one under rank 20.
And another very good argument I have that justifies that rank 20 farm doesn't arm the game. Very very simple. If there is anything that would piss rank legend players off, would be some casual players reaching legend or even rank 10 and being there playing Gurubashi Berserker and Lost Tallstrider with a shitty deck that occasionally works and he reached rank 10 with that.
So basically you're saying that it's good for pro players to have pairs playing right above the pure amateur level to filter them and allowing only the top most of them reaching the competitive amateur scenes. Just like when the USA sent their NBA dream team in the Olympics.
You are just trying to justify yourself by telling their shouldn't be any difficulty tier between newbie with only common cards et pro-player with a complete collection

There's also a new animation for voidwalker highlighting his muscles

6-0. Perfect to complete 5 wins with a drood + 5 brawls, even with a very bad start (nothing for the 4 first turns).
A must have

No watermark is a thing (not decided yet) and an old set one is another.

So I assume it's the same with Cairne.

Yes, and brawl provides some sort of "new content" and will keep us busy at least a few weeks .

Maybe the game wants you to play a demon deck ?
