FrostbytesNL posted a message on People are standing firm!Posted in: General DiscussionI'm surprised it took this long for people to realize how greedy blizzard has been!
Well that said, there is still a lot of useful idiots around sticking up for this corporate greed, thinking they are getting achievement points when they defend the behavior shown by Activision-blizzard! I've seen too many moral knights in shining armor, saying stupid stuff like,
" think its too expensive, stop complaining, or keep your mouth shut, this subject has already been posted many times" dumb shit like that...
But people fail to understand many of us love this game, we want it to be better and we like playing it and we would like to do so for a long time. Also a shout out to J Alexander, he made an awesome constructive post, changes Blizzard could do right now to make this game better for everyone. This would make more people come back and play this game, a shame Activision cant see it through their greedy lenses.
We should demand these changes before coming back!!-
Give players 10g per win and 5g per loss:
-
Cut non-golden crafting costs by half
-
Add equal amounts of dusts to daily quests
-
Give the Classic set in its entirety to all players:
-
Make the mid-season expansion free or a small cost, like $5:

BravoTeam posted a message on Who's the dev that thought Tickatus is balanced card ?Posted in: Card DiscussionTickatus is a 6 mana pile of stats that has no effect on the board. It's nutty against Control and Combo decks, but it's an active detriment to have it in your deck against Aggro. If there's been one thing that's been consistently true in Hearthstone's history it's that Aggro is a much more important factor in deciding what's playable than Control is. The only reason you see the card a lot right now is we're in the expansion launch window where people haven't figured out how to optimize Aggro and thus are playing a bunch of greedy jank. Once people inevitably realize that the best way to climb ladder is to swap out the weakest X cards from Soul Demon Hunter with X cards from Darkmoon Faire and mindlessly hit face in 5 minute games rather than bother with thinking and making decisions in 20 minute games the meta will turn aggressive once more and Tickatus will only see fringe play.

Shipmen posted a message on Blizzard lied about the new reward systemPosted in: General Discussionhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyqWTqlAuyQ&feature=youtu.be
I am very mad not also for the lie but for the Hearthstone's price.
Pre-order + Pass + middle pre-order every 4 months. Hearthstone can cost 100€ every 4 months, so 400€ per year without having the full collection. Blizzard is mad.

Arucard posted a message on [Math] Old VS New Reward System [UPDATED]Posted in: General DiscussionGold is strictly better than packs because you get to pick where you spend that gold.
I'm really disappointed at the new reward system. This was a perfect opportunity to lower the cost of the game and instead they just monetized it more. Everyone agrees that the main reason people are quitting the game is the high cost it has. I mean by buying the preorders I could buy Cyberpunk AND Demon's Souls, and still I wouldn't have all the cards for the expansion ( On top of that Blizz had the BALLS to launch the game at the same time as Cyberpunk, they got really lucky they moved the launch date) . The high cost of the game is the main reason for the meta getting stale so quickly because most people just get enough gold/dust to craft 1 deck and they will craft the most boringly optimized deck to climb ranked.
Even if you spend enough money every expansion to get every card and don't care about the price of the game, this affects you. You are spending money on a game dependent on it's player base. If the player base quits and the game dies, you are spending money on nothing. -

CasmX posted a message on Fall Reveal Stream Teaser #2Posted in: NewsI despise teaser trailers like this. I get the idea behind them. Stir up speculation and hype. But what exactly is this particular teaser trying to tease anyway? It's so vague that it's stupid and for me, does the opposite of hyping up the inevitable announcement. This teaser could mean literally anything, or nothing at all.
Maybe it has something to do with the electricity effect. So, maybe something to do with Shaman. Maybe not and it's just a meaningless visual effect, like when you craft a card with dust. Maybe it has something to do with top-decks, since the card in question is the literal top of the deck. Maybe not. OMG, the card spins! What could that possibly mean!@!?.....it's just so stupid. I mean, if you're gonna do a teaser trailer, at least tease something.
Again, this is just my opinion on it but I feel teasers like this have the opposite effect. It does very little to generate hype/buzz for the upcoming content and ultimately fails as a whole. Maybe that's just me though.

Thanks fort the Review Ben! I must admit i'm following your opinion for quite some time and usually i find it on point.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one thinking Murozond the Infinite is vastly overrated. Perhaps I would rate it 2 instead of 1, but anyway very good review !

This might be one of the few Meta-defining votes from me. It pushes dragon archetype so much it seems like a must have/craft day one if you want to play this kind of decks.
edit:
as stated above, this card is much like Prince Keleseth, and most of us still remember. Dragon prince, cost one more and instead giving +1/+1 reduces cost of all dragon by two. Considering game mechanics this will be severely op with rogue Shadowstep or/and Waggle Pick not to mention Spirit of the Shark you can combo it with Barista Lynchen or Bog Slosher.
I think [card[shudderwock[/card] shouldn't be a problem as it comes to late to play to get any value out of it.
taking in consideration, how many good dragons have been revealed so far this card, looks really scary (hello 7 mana Malygos). Versing 8 mana dragon on turn 6 might loos you a game from a get go. I'm far from calling for nerf before seeing this card in play, but we should expect this card being staple in upcoming meta.
The only issue i see is number of dragons you can put in to your deck. The more viable dragons the stronger this card is. If it happens (doubtful) that there will be only couple of viable dragons, only than i can see this card being underwhelming.
Edit2:
After some more thoughts, I'm shifting towards strong but not insane. The main reason that justify this card, is number of dragons in the deck. I cant Imagine deck with this and 29 dragons, not with 20 not even with 15. So basicly card will effect less than half of your cards in the deck.
I'm not switching my vote from meta defying, as i still believe this is the card, that push dragons deck to be viable, but i don't think its busted and insanely op.
Edit 3:
Third day and my emotions still shifts to strong, playable card. Shifting encouraging dragons decks, but not as strong as my initial thoughts.

can be quite a decent card. with tokens/lackey a lot of value.
At first i thought it transforms random card, but than i checked reveal video and WOHA this card will finde some place for sure. Playable at least.
1
bad as for now.
maybe tech card vs Bomb, or Hakkar, the Soulflayer
2
basically there are some cards, that don't need to be in your deck to work.
Having this card printed keeps in check all crazy armour generating control decks with fatigue as a win condition.
2
nice tech card to keep some frustrating archetypes in check. Even if not played, it is good to have it in collection.
there should be anti-meta vote. For all the cards you barely see in play, but it sole existence counters some archetypes.
2
is this a winner of "cute art" contest ?
you remember Netherspite Historian? it was one of the key card of infamous dragon priest.
paladin version has no requirement and gives free life-steal on top of that (and being a dragon by itself). If there is dragon paly, this card should be in the deck

The end is coming
2
You dont really want to give oponents any extra rng luck.

four words only.
