Nekkro2 posted a message on 29.2.1 Patch Notes - Small Adjustment to Quest Requirements - Armor Changes for Battlegrounds & Bug FixesPosted in: NewsTo me the Weekly Quest become a "2 Week Quest" cause I just don't have time (or motivation) to play enough to complete the Quests. I often play like 3 or 4hs for week at most. So I guess that I would reach level 100 at the last minute of the Set.
At the very least Quest don't reset each week, so at least I don't lose all the progress. But I guess that the new meta is going to be reroll the "Win 10 Games" wherever you can, cause that's the trully difficult to do, the other ones in a couple BG games you can kinda complete.
And I'm not a bad player (not great, but not bad) but I tend to play very dumb decks, with silly ideas or overcomvoluted synergies, so on average I might win 1 out ot 3 games in wild, which means I must play like 30 games at least to complete the Quest, and I'm sure I don't play more than 15 games on a week. And I don't want betray myself and play meta decks or hyper aggro just to farm the quests, cause that's not fun to me, and if I'm not going to have fun with the game, I don't know why I would even bother in play it, while I have a lot of other games that I could be playing instead, and I often don't have time to do.

Raven_Ax posted a message on 29.2.1 Patch Notes - Small Adjustment to Quest Requirements - Armor Changes for Battlegrounds & Bug FixesPosted in: NewsIt's not fun anymore. I feel stressed because I'm not sure I can finish my weekly at the end of the week.
Hearthstone was one of this game you could play casually (even not every day) and still get reward and not feel behind if you manage to do all your quest.
But now doubt installed, and stress came. It's a really bad move from them. Recuding xp reward instead of doubling the requirements could even have been better for casual player.
I really consider leaving this game if it feel too oppressing to finish my weekly in time...
But maybe they don't care because I don't buy anything anymore. I only play constructed and I disenchant all wild cards every new year. I don't need to buy packs with real money. Maybe they want to get ride of player like me ?

GreatGopher1 posted a message on 29.2.1 Patch Notes - Small Adjustment to Quest Requirements - Armor Changes for Battlegrounds & Bug FixesPosted in: NewsAs a parent with a full-time job, I often struggled to complete the weeklies in their old form. Not a chance I can do them now, and it really kills my interest in continuing to play, knowing that I'll be taking a major hit in rate of card acquisition.
Blizzard is outright saying that this game is no longer for me, and I'm inclined to agree.

And I thought the Snap devs were bad, these guys are next level.

Totally agree, any increase in difficulty would suck, in my humble opinion. Some people do not have time to grind for hours, and quests are the main way to progress your account. The alternative is uninstalling, sadly.
I get that they are trying to force more engagement, presumably people are abandoning the game, or at least playing less (maybe that's why we have so many bots). But this is not the way.

"Most" quests? Reduce the requirements for them all, the community has spoken.

When I saw this, I thought it was a joke. If true, it will likely cause me to uninstall, after playing since beta. I don't have time to grind for hours a week, and quests are the main way to progress your collection. If they get harder, I'm out. :((

Abysmal game development, there should be sackings, in my honest opinion.

Real talk, do they actually test in house? The new BG set has such poor balance, I'm beginning to suspect they don't.
I wonder if there is a connection between shitty BG balance, and Blizzard hiring casters to develop the game, instead of people with game design experience? Thinking...

Blizzard killed HS Esports when they added Create, in my honest opinion, the amount of RNG in the modern game is so high, it's hard for anyone to take it seriously. After it rose from the grave, they sent it to hell with the YouTube deal. RIP HS Esports.

Not sure how much he was responsible, but the game has certainly been in decline for a while.

But they lock you in to buying specific amounts, which don't line up with what you want to buy. So, you actually end up spending more. This is a common trick in mobile games.

When a mobile game adds a new currency, it is always bad for players. You can no longer buy what you want in your local currency. You now have to buy a shitty, intermediate currency, which almost certainly doesn't line up.
