Totally agree, any increase in difficulty would suck, in my humble opinion. Some people do not have time to grind for hours, and quests are the main way to progress your account. The alternative is uninstalling, sadly.
I get that they are trying to force more engagement, presumably people are abandoning the game, or at least playing less (maybe that's why we have so many bots). But this is not the way.
When I saw this, I thought it was a joke. If true, it will likely cause me to uninstall, after playing since beta. I don't have time to grind for hours a week, and quests are the main way to progress your collection. If they get harder, I'm out. :((
I assume this will be the free neutral legendary of the rewards track, right?
Hope so, because it appears to be an almost like-for-like re-release of Whizbang the Wonderful, surely they wouldn't do that to us...?! Or am I missing something?
Real talk, do they actually test in house? The new BG set has such poor balance, I'm beginning to suspect they don't.
I wonder if there is a connection between shitty BG balance, and Blizzard hiring casters to develop the game, instead of people with game design experience? Thinking...
Blizzard killed HS Esports when they added Create, in my honest opinion, the amount of RNG in the modern game is so high, it's hard for anyone to take it seriously. After it rose from the grave, they sent it to hell with the YouTube deal. RIP HS Esports.
But they lock you in to buying specific amounts, which don't line up with what you want to buy. So, you actually end up spending more. This is a common trick in mobile games.
When a mobile game adds a new currency, it is always bad for players. You can no longer buy what you want in your local currency. You now have to buy a shitty, intermediate currency, which almost certainly doesn't line up.
Happened to me once, learned my lesson. When you stop pre-ordering, you enjoy the game much more. You can still open 50+ packs per expansion, using gold from the pass, and you don't miss the pain of wasting $100.

The meta is abysmal, but what do you expect, when they recruit developers from the casting desk. LOL

And I thought the Snap devs were bad, these guys are next level.

"Most" quests? Reduce the requirements for them all, the community has spoken.

Same, and why Snap is essentially replacing HS. The devs don't seem to understand, a lot of people don't have time for endless hours of grinding.

Is that why there are so many bots, because nobody wants to play? Miserable meta.

Abysmal game development, there should be sackings, in my honest opinion.

4 legendary in ~40 packs. The Countess, Necrolord Draka, Murloc Holmes, and Kael'thas Sinstrider.
I just got Baroness Vashj from the battle pass.
I stopped putting money into HS a few years ago, you can't beat just saving up a bit of gold / free packs, and crossing your fingers, IMO.
